Who am I?
I'm the evil DM.
I'll of course do events for everyone, but I've a special interest in helping evil characters out in fulfilling their goals, be you on the surface or in the underdark. I particularly enjoy making unusual events, and I'm always keen to bring in player suggestions of betrayal, backstabbing, assassinations, ambushes or just plain misdirection to spice things up in a wicked way.
It's all about speed. I'm beginning to truly master the client in the hopes of making everything a bit more fastpaced as things happen. I may have a framework for a specific event, but I've learned that players can and often do surprising things that I need to react too quickly. I encourage this. Using the environment, and thinking about it is very desirable. Try and go outside of the mechanical limits and see what's actually there. Move rocks. Chop down trees. Build barricades, start a fire, search those background boxes for equipment. I try to make all of my events a bit unusual and fast-paced. I want the event times to be concentrated, and not dragging on and on. Therefore, my events will rarely surpass 2 hours.
My goals are to be as unbiased as I possibly can. It's an impossible task, but it is my duty to try my best at it all the time by spreading my events out among the playerbase. I'm aspiring to be the DM that the playerbase deserves. What all the characers are levelling up for is to have those epic moments, be they tragedies or incredible heroism. This is what I aim to provide the most.
I'm a busy DM. I help in organization, I do spontaneous events all the time for groups in an area, I carry my own storylines and I help with others. I approve biographies, custom items, name changes and all that, while testing new and exciting ways to do things IG. If you need me for something, it's important that you send me a PM. I get flooded with tells IG all the time, and my inbox on the forum takes similar punishment. If we've decided to do an event, you need to post a suggested time and date for me in a PM as well (preferably in the title), so it doesn't get lost.

That plan fails as a careless elf wanders in, and attempts a go at the necromancer's chest. She orders her zombies to kill everyone.
The 2 adventurers kill her and her minions and returns for their reward. Only, Slurkbad has set up an ambush. Sadly for him, the ambush lacks in competence and the adventurers kill the kobolds, then slowly makes Slurkbad suffer to get at his gold. They kill him, then take the gold for themselves.

The adventurers set off for the rivals, and after much effort, finishes both of them.
As they return, Grakkskab has delusions of grandeur. He is the big chief now, and big chiefs get what they want. He wants the shiny magical items on the adventurers. Realizing the parlay is failing, the adventuers prepare for a fight. Luckily, they manage to kill Grakkskab right away. Civil war erupts, as several kobolds turn on other kobolds. The unfortunate Recruit
Characters: Arya (lvl14)
Plot: Arya discovers a Flaming Fist guard recruit (Mark Jones) locked in and tortured in the Gnoll caves. He begs her for help, and she manages to get him out. Together they fight their way through gnolls to reach the surface once more, happening upon former guards of his unit having been gnawed upon, as well as getting to know each other. It appears the Guard is a recruit, who was abducted when his patrol was attacked on the lion's way.
The gnolls have noticed the disappearance of their favourite plaything, and gathers a large group in hot pursuit. Arya and the guard Jones are aware of their presence by sounds as they struggle to make it out. The gnolls catch up to them right at the entrance, launching a huge assault. Arya is incapacited after brave fighting, and Jones is nearly dead as he drops his halberd and barely manages to get out of the cave with Arya's body. Another patrol spots them, and rushes to their aid. They take them both to the Flaming Fist headquarter in BG to give their report to Captain Belurian on increased gnoll activity.
Rewards: 1000 xp to Arya.

The air is nice down here
Characters: Nëa (lvl30), Endelyon (lvl28), Jon Arrington (lvl19), Kethor (lvl3), Einar Dalgaard (lvl4), Wyn'caellia Four-winds (lvl18), co-host DM Pancake
Plot: Einar finds unusual undead at the graveyard; diseased zombies. While his companions run away, he decides to investigate the nearby cave. He finds too many zombies for him to handle, so he runs to BG and recruits help from 5 other individuals. Zombies pour out of the cave, and the group fights their way through them. As they enter, they're met with a horde of plague zombies whom they painstakingly fight through slowly.
At the far end, the air grew foul as they went further into the cave complex. A mass of zombies awaited them, and in the compact space, the party was surprised and nearly all killed. Only the heroic actions of Wyn'caellia and Nëa allowed the party to retreat and regroup. It turned out the air was...difficult to breathe, and it affected them in combat greatly. Kethor then suggested, with brilliant insight, that they could cover their mouths to ease the burning of their lungs. True enough, it lessened the effects. Bypassing a simple riddle on a magical cave wall, the party was happy to find an air pocket where they could finally relax and breath.
Slowly but surely, they went deeper and deeper, ever aware of their precious amount of air left in their lungs. Moving from pocket to pocket, the party fought well and happened upon a lone diseased woman in the end. She appeared starking mad, and kept raving on and on about a world of the unliving, the great rise and other such things. She pointed out Jon Arrington, cursing him to live to see the world end where all others fall. After listening to her, it became too much and Jon attempted a spell to heal her of her state. Sadly, the disease was all that held the woman up, and she collapsed dead on the spot. The adventurers debated a bit, before Wyn'caellia set her body ablaze. Unfortunately, the substance at their very feet caught fire as well, spreading throughout the complex rapidly. The adventurers had to run as fast as they could as thick black smoke filled the air and the flame chased them out.
Rewards: 2000 gold to Nëa, 2000 xp to everyone else.

The Plague Rat [2015-01-27]
Characters: Opal Blake (lvl3), Milende Waynn (lvl3), Mognart (lvl6 and latecomer)
Plot: The adventurers happen upon an undead plague rat in the graveyard. They decide to seek up Master Angus and talk about it, and learn that there is a plague in BG. He hints that it may have come from there. The adventurers take to the BG sewers, where they happen upon Mognart. They find hundreds of rats fleeing down the tunnel, and wading through them, they eventually make it to an area with a most pugnant smell. They find a really big undead rat, nauseating, and kill it. As Milende touches it's corpse, she gets sick, and the others decide to take her to a temple along with the corpse carried by Milende. She grows weaker by the hour, but taking necessary precautions they get to the temple.
The servants at the temple manages to cure her, and she stays the night to rest. The corpse is disposed of in a magical containment box, for observation. Opal donated 500 goldpieces to the church of Illmater.
Rewards: 500 gold to Milende and Mognart, 1000 xp to Milende and Opal, 800 xp to Mognart. +1 good alignment points to Opal.

The Plague Rat II
Characters: Ameris Santaeger, Sveta Asperan, Sani, Mogrant, Ivan, Telia Navra.
Plot: The box with the plaguerat is in the church of Illmater. The group intend to take it down to the sewers, to investigate it further in a "safe" area. Once there, they decide that it would be nice to just wander around with the box, perhaps something might happen?
Well, it does. They encounter rats upon rats, most of them in distress. As they go deeper, they find more and more rats, and eventually diseased ones of the same type lying in the box. They fight and kill them, then discover that they've been eaten from the inside, and for a brief moment, they saw hollow maggots of magical energy exit the rat corpses. They debate, as more rats are seen fleeing past them. It's clear to them that merely staying in the vincinity of the smell is having a nauseating effect upon them, that ceases to be once they step away from the corpses. They intend to burn the corpses, when the ground starts to shake. The air grows most foul, and hundreds of more rats flee in panic past them.
They encounter a rat monstrosity, pushing itself through the corridors. They fight it and defeat it, only to see it emit a shower of the same magical maggots from it's corpse. The maggots soon dissipate, and the adventurers burn the corpses. Some feel that this disease may be related to Yurtrus. It also seems like the maggots consist of necromantic energies. Unknown to the adventurers, someone is hiding in the shadows listening in to their conversations...
Rewards: 2000 gold to Ameris, Telia and Ivan. 1500 xp to the others.

The Goblin Boss
Characters: Sylvar Essarel, Gruff Steelbane, Arianna
Plot: The adventurers find themselves deep within a cave along the trade way, inhabited by goblins. A cry echoes throughout the complex, as the goblins gather in masses to rid themselves of their intruders. Barely defeating the first forward goblins, the adventurers aim to rest behind a steel-clad door. That it not to be. They hear it closing in. A troll.
It begin to hammer away at the door with the adventurers waiting on the other side, badly wounded and terrified. The strikes ring with an earthshattering noise, and soon the door is ripped off and the troll charges in. Defeating it, narrowly, the adventurers try to move across the hall to another room and fortify their position as more goblins just keep coming. Arianna finds a curious, evil book among the scattered papers, scrolls and books, which she keeps. The others try and hold on for dear life. Eventually they make use of the rubble within to barricade themselves fully, and manage to get some rest. They also find various things to use, such as potions and grenades lying around in crates. As goblins begin to sniff around the barricade, Arianna blows it to pieces with a fireball letting the goblins in. She repeats the mistake once more with an ice storm, after the others repair the barricade.
Convinced that they're fighting a losing battle, they decide to turn on the offensive or die in the attempt. The corridors are eerily silent. They happen upon a room where the goblins have gathered before a goblin boss. They decide to interrupt them, fight and are badly beaten and taken prisoner.
They wake up with their hands tied. It seems they're about to be sacrificed, or so the goblin boss tells them before departing. Luckily, Arianna isn't as well tied up as the others, and manages an invisibility spell without the guards noticing (they fight among themselves for the privilege of torturing Gruff). She unties them one by one, both Sylvar and Gruff playing along that they're still tied down. A fight ensues as one goblin guard kills the other. The remaining goblin smiles wickedly as he can now kill them all and blame it on the dead goblin. But he is tricked by Sylvar and Gruff, who keep him unbalanced by shouting to him in turn. Eventually he loses patience and makes a strike at Gruff, and gets surprised when Gruff catches his blow with remarkable speed and turns the tables around. They wait in ambush for the goblin boss to return to the cell, then assassinate him and his single guard.
The goblins begin fighting with each other as the adventurers make a run for it in the ensuing chaos, and manages to get out. What an adventure!
Rewards: 2000 xp each, Forbidden Book to Arianna, some potions and grenades spread out among them.

Where are those drow?
Characters: Alot of them, level 5-11 all.
Plot: A report was left with the Flaming Fist about drow in the Fields of the dead. They managed to aquire a sum, a reward for adventurers willing to check it out, provided they returned with information of note. The adventurer gang went out, and found a mysterious crypt. They delved deeper, and was attacked at most turns by undead plague rats. They also found many diseased bodies lying around, and some adventurers caught a disease just by staying too close. When the bodies rose up and began attacking them, the adventurers quickly learned that it might be best to burn bodies lying around in the future.
They found a locked door, and blew it up with explosives that had been hidden away and now found. Plagued by plague rats, they bombed the sewer holes from which they came and made steady progress. Undead plague bats also assaulted them, but they pulled through. More and more adventurers became diseased, either by exposing themselves to the rotten corpses or staying too close to those already infected. Soon all but one were infected, and it was beginning to take it's toll. Everywhere they went, there were signs of someone or some people having been there recently, searching for something. Eventually, they found the spot. A coffin with a skeleton. Nothing to read into there, and a piece of bone was stolen by someone when noone thought to look.
Some adventurers however, understood the meaning of the skeleton and the place they were in, but choose to withhold the information to the others. Having burned many corpses, the air began to be too foul to breathe, and the adventurers barely managed to get out before they would start to choke.
Their report to the Flaming fist was all ramblings about undead of all manners assaulting them, and the Flaming Fist officer wasn't impressed. After all, they went into the fields of the dead, and they brought no evidence of the drow sighted. He left them, without a reward, and closed the case.
Rewards: 2000 xp each, piece of diseased bone to one adventurer.

Re: DM Bloodlust's Events
February
The Plague Spitter
Characters: Prester Jax, Nova Skordemaskin, Morton, Malthus Graal, Co-host DM Gogo.
Plot: A madman is dragged through the farmlands and the city towards the Flaming Fist headquarters. He claims to have seen something, and it got him separated from his companions travelling through the fields of the dead. The Fist has none of it, and ties him up and gags him. Some adventurers listen in, and decide to check it out.
Broken corpses lie scattered throughout, and the ground is shaking. Many skeletons rise up, a horrible stench about them, but they are put down. The adventurers find a crypt, which they open but does not descend into. Soon they find the madman's companions, lying in together in pools of blood with a ghoul feasting on their remains. At first it doesn't notice them, but soon it launches itself at them to sate it's everlasting hunger. The ground shakes again, as they defeat the ghoul. Groans of zombies appear from the crypt, diseased ones, swarming out. With some haste, the adventurers fight them then desecrate the tombstones to barricade the zombies inside the crypt.
Expoloring further Nova Skordemaskin finds a note, but keep being reminded about the ground shaking. Small tremors. It dawns on them that something is burrowing underground. Eventually, they hear a loud crashing sound as it enters the surface. It's a....huge monstrosity, it's body bloated by poisonous gas that it releases violently as it attacks. The adventurers try to defeat it, but as soon as it gets injured it burrows underground again. It lurks there, then springs back up fully healed, time and time again, really taking it's toll on the adventurers. The air grows foul, but it invigorates the monstrosity.
After escaping multiple times, the adventurers manage to figure out a plan of going for it's legs. They succeed in slowing the beast down, and enraged it launches a violent assault nearly killing two of them right away. It tries madly to burrow underground again, but only makes it half-way. Prester Jax strikes the finishing blow, and the body explodes in ichor covering the adventurers as the body slinks deep into the hole. What the hell was that?!
Rewards: 1500 xp each, note to Nova Skordemaskin.

Plot: The thralls suddenly found themselves free. With no memory, weak and fearful, they instinctively knew it was time to run. They were deep in the Underdark. Scavening what supplies they could, constantly losing lives to Illithid attacks and infighting among themselves, a scant few turned north hoping for an escape while the Illithids were trying to box them in with magical fire. A chance meeting with Duergar slavers almost got the hungry and tired ex-thralls, but seeing them as somewhat armed, the Duergar focused on chasing down the Tanarukk Dong. Catching up to them within Sshamath city borders, a fierce debate took place on what the group owed the slavers for their lives. In the end, clever double-speak and lies earned them their enmity instead, as the slavers left with nothing. A new life was about to begin...

Slaughtering every last one of them, the group moved onwards, but where waylaid by an Elistraee group and badly beaten. They woke up as prisoners. Halolinara attempted to get them to convert, and buy them time, but it was to no avail. The slaughter of the civilians had left a sour taste, and most wanted them to recieve judgement quickly. The group somehow however managed to get loose from their bindings, and was planning an escape, when Isendur foolishly revealed he had gotten free to the guards by standing up and brushing dust off, all not very stealthily. The group was badly beaten once more, and woke to find themselves being transported by guards to the sentencing. The council had deemed there could only be one sentence; death. But the blood would not be on their hands, nor would they spill more blood in the sorrowful cavern complex which they currently inhabited. They stripped them of their belongings, and sent them half-naked out into the wilds awaiting a sure death.
Hatred fuelled the group, and somehow they managed to get back to Sshamath. Thirsty, hungry, wearing little but rags, the group quickly became a laughing stock among the civilians who saw and dared to mock them. Now it was personal...
