Oggy Boggy, a half orc that hails from the eastern lands of Dambrath. Oggy is stands about 7 feet tall and weighs 280 pounds mostly due to muscle tone and his large orc body. His skin is a light green tent slightly showing his Mountain Orc Heritage as a tattoo on his left arm shows a flaming battle axe which is very well detailed. Oggy was a full head of black messy hair which he seems to wash but not groom with any sort of hair product of any kind. . . His eyes are brown and very diluted for some strange reason as his puples seems to take up a vast portion of the color in his eyes when in the dark and it is barely visible.
Oggy hails from the city of Purl in the lands of Dambrath to where he served in army there every sense he was a little boy. Not much is known about Oggy's past before being found by the a scouting party of city guards, fighting for his life in the Hills of the Dead Kings fending off a small group of Gnolls swarming him and knocking him around. . . As Oggy went to take out 1 of the 6 Gnolls with only a small club the Gnolls then knocked him out cold. . . to where he then awoke in a infirmary. Once Oggy had finally awaken he was approached by a man in Silver Plated Armor, the armor was well polished and cleaned with hardly a spec of dirty of blood upon it. As Oggy began to look at the man behind the armor it was in fact a Drow of all things! Looking down upon Oggy the Drow explained to Oggy that he fought bravely against a pack of Gnools that had him surrounded but managed to knock out one of them with a mere club to which little Oggy couldn't believe. . . The Drow asked how old Oggy was to where Oggy explained he was only a few years old. . . he couldn't really remember at the time. . . The Drow simply took an estimate of Oggy's Age and confirmed it to himself at that point. . . After this the Drow asked Oggy a series of questions concerning where he was from. . . where his mother and father were at the time his attack. . . And many others. . . . At this time Oggy could only give the Drow very mundane answers as he couldn't remember most of what he asked nor could he answer them correctly. The Drow simply smiled after the series of Questions and said to him his name. . .
Well my name is Yorwick! What is yours?
It took Oggy a long pause thinking hard and remembering a portion of common words his mother all used to tell him when she told him ghost story's
Me. . . Oggy. . . Oggy. . .Boggy
As time went by Oggy served under the Drow who at the time served as a Sergeant in the City Guard. The Drow taught Oggy a series of things from basic combat skills, to reading books, even basic hygen. . . because he damn sure needed it. . . As time passed Oggy was Drafted into the City Guard as per request of Sergeant Yorwick, Yorwick and Oggy then worked together in the City Guard Doing a vast amount of jobs, from busting law breakers, Helping Build Temples and Homes and Smiting Weapons and Armor for the new recruits of the City Guard and also to sell to potential buyers. Oggy found a strange liking to crafting various objects and weaponry. . . it seemed so fluent to him. . . also as if he had done it before. . . but never the less was extraordinary good at it no doubt.
Then one day on a dusk night the City Emergency Bell then rang symbolizing a disturbance out side the gate! Oggy and Yorwick along with the other men of the Guard then Grabbed their Bows and ran to the walls posting up on both the east and western walls. . . to where the saw in the distance a strange figures holding torches and large weapons! The figures in the distance were indeed what they looked like. . . as Yorwick Yelled to the men . . .
Orc Horde! Archers Ready!
As the archer readied their bows waiting for the signal to fire 3 orcs of the horde stepped forward screaming in the orcian language. . .
"Give us back our son!"
Yorwick felt hostility from the orcs who stepped forward screaming ordering the archer along the wall. . . to fire! . . . A large hail of arrows swarmed the horde of orcs killing each and every one of them one by one with a steel tipped bolt of arrow. . . As this happened the orcs charged in breaking through the gates of the city in little to no time with with great strength and large beast-like weapons.
The fight between the guards and the orcs seemed to last forever. As the hours flew by Oggy and Yorwick were fighting through the horde to where the set their gaze upon the orc leader who screamed at them in some sort of orc slang. . . a female orc in the middle held out an arm to the other 2 orc leader then gazing upon Oggy and crying. . . As the female orc went to embrace Oggy. . . she was struck down in an instant by a magical fireball from Yorwick. . .
The Orc Mother Simply stared at Oggy as she burned in the fires of the flame spell. . . as all she could do at that point was smile and say her last words in plain common to Oggy with tears running down her cheek and a smile
Be safe my son. . .
Oggy simply watched as his mother burned to death in his arms not shedding a tear but felt a tear some where deep in his heart. . . As this happened a voice yelled out!
So you brought these beast here!
The man behind the voice was the Gaurd Captain a human by the name of James Smith a well renown man in the city. The Guard Captain then began to blame Oggy for this attack on the city because of his past relations with the orcs. . .then being stripped of his rank and banished from the city never to return. . .
After a few hours Yorwick lead Oggy to the gate and prepared some supplies for his journey. . . weapons, food, a sturdy pair of armor along with a variety of magical scrolls. . . Then hailing a wagon and asking the wagon man to transport Oggy to a place called the Sword Coast to where he would start his new life. . . Right before the Wagon man set off Yorwick then handed Oggy a strange looking Mace then telling Oggy it was on the body of the female orc that died before him. . . and that if any should have it it should be him. . . ?Oggy took the Mace and Nodded Promising to return in the future and see Yorwick once he had regained his reputation.
