Appearance: He is of middling height and fairly slim of build. A strong yet easy stance belies that of one who may spring to action in a moment's notice. He has a strong jaw and one ice blue eye, twinkling with that light of someone who is up to no good. The other eye is hidden behind a black eye patch. He has well kept red bangs that lay upon his forehead. His face is comely, albeit marred by the eye patch and smirk affixed to his face, and the slightest signs of crow's feet. He is clad in lightweight leathers, close fitting in order to not hamper movement, but reinforced in the chest and shoulders. A sweeping basket hilted rapier is slung on either side of his belt, and over his shoulder lies a small crossbow.

Personality Profile: Did you say something that can be turned into a good natured joke? Mikhos will pick up on it. A flirt, a tease, and a great friend are all ways that could be used to describe Mikhos Seagaard. He thinks of himself as a handsome, dashing, and daring rogue, but in reality he is instead a man who strongly feels the need to protect his friends and those who are less fortunate than himself. His incessant joking can be irritating to those who are more grim and serious in nature.

Background:
He was a gutter baby, the unwanted spawn of a prostitute and a regular client. The client being a wealthy smith named Jakyl Seagaard. No matter how she tried, Mayira could not rid herself of the pregnancy, and eventually birthed her child, the red haired screaming babe she named Mikhos. From that day forward, she loved the boy, even if she had no means to care for him, and begged his father for aid. Though it took years, money eventually came for the boy's well being, and the mother and child were lifted (briefly) out of poverty, the smith finally giving the woman what was due for his child. Mikhos at this point had nearly perfected the art of stealing from passers by in order to get a meal, and had become proficient with a dagger. Once in his teens, the lad began working with the local thieves guild in order to put his skills better to use. Being who he was, Mikhos did not make friends with everyone, and eventually left due to personal convictions.

Eventually he met up with the dwarf Radsvid Ironbeard from Icewind Dale and after a bit too much drinking, decided to create the Northern Host Adventuring Company, eventually signing on the raging younger brother of Radsvid, an arcane scholar, and a lone acolyte of Jergal who travels with the group for seemingly unknown reasons.

Eirik Kussovich, the younger brother of Radsvid, died later, and another casualty was the acolyte, who went to his god Jergal. The ranks of the Northern Host Adventuring company were thin, but an older wizard came out of retirement for some glory, and an odd duck of a sorcerer eventually signed onto the company.




Goals:
Being born poor, Mikhos has always wanted to make a name for himself as either a noble or a wealthy man who could live like nobility. This might seem a small goal, but Mikhos is not exactly as complex and as intriguing as he may lead others to believe. In the end, he wants a good pint of ale and a good place to call his own.

He also wants the fanciest pair of rapiers on the sword coast.


Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
- He has no idea who his father is, except that the man was a blacksmith of some small repute.
- While he pretends he's selfish and the "dashing rogue / handsome bandit", he will help others in need.
- He's a bit on the greedy side and the promise of riches or treasure will always lure him in.
- Used to be an active member of the Thieves' Guild, though has since parted ways after a falling out.
- Together with his friends runs the Northern Host Adventuring Company, who are always looking for work, unless they're all drunk off their asses. In which, come back tomorrow.
- Has a negative history with many Underdark races, particularly Drow. Big surprise.
