history: Faelar has spent most of his life in the High Forest where Clan Laelithar has served Solonor for centuries. Following the wanderlust of his kind, Faelar has come to the Baldur's Gate region seeking adventure and ways to further his archery and serve the forests in the name of Solonor.

The Laelithar clan is known for its archers. Many of Clan Laelithar pursue the sacred path of the bow in service to the Great Archer. Ancient Laelithar lore has it that in the distant past there was a time when the Laelithar clan had close ties with a green dragon in defense of their shared forest home against some deadly peril. From this association, it is said, comes the source of the dragon blood in the Laelithari veins and the secret to the power of their archery. No one knows for sure the truth of such lore but it is known that the Laelithari archers manifest sorcery and channel such power into their archery. There is also the curious clan tradition of the preservation of the draconic tongue in their clan circles.
