Personality Profile: Merin has an insatiable curiosity, only hindered by the carefulness imbedded in him since birth, like most of his kin, as such he is careful around strangers. However, this carefulness is not as explicit as in some of his kin and he opens up quickly to other Svirfneblin and Shield dwarves with whom he spent some time in the Mithral Hall.

As a sidenote, an acceptance into the ranks of the breachgnomes has been pending for him, he is currently awaiting the decision and if accepted he will take on the responsibilities that comes with it. This may make him act with more confidence and willpower to live up to the standards of the breachgnomes.

Background: Merin was born and raised in Blingdenstone, close to Menzoberranzan and Mithral Hall, He spent much of his childhood with his mother and learned some Svirfneblin culinary arts through her, an art that is unlikely to impress anyone who is not a Svirfneblin. With the current conflict between Menzoberranzan and Mithral Hall threatening Blingdenstone he partly set out to try and locate new places for his kin to settle.
Goals: Become accepted into the ranks of breachgnomes and find new land for his kin.
