Those enchantment recipes are just...

So I've been playing a lot lately, and I considered going for the Craft Magic Arms and Armor/Craft Wonderous Item feats on my Warlock anyway. And by now I gathered a collection of books containing recipes for enchantments. In respect to the low-med magic setting, most of them seem reasonable, like +1d6 elemental enchantments on weapons. Others however seem faaaairly overpowered, like the bracers of armor +8.

To cut it short: do all those recipes really work? The recipes for +8 stuff kinda make me doubt it.

This server has no active crafting system besides wands/scrolls/potions.

I believe Rasael has created one but it is unlikely to grace the shores of BGTSCC (if it did, though, that would be awesome!)

^^Not likely to happen. There are more things needing work than a few items being eliminated from the server. Books are fun RP and thusly also you are aware you PC can use those books to support knowledge of something in RP right? That is of course supposing it is not a Time of Troubles thing.........

Also, those books are cool because you can blank them out and write your own stuff in them. I used to do that before Rasael made the other book system (which is cool, by the way, just not the same).

Also, valuable in Candlekeep RP.
