Personality Profile:

Though very innocent and a chronic daydreamer in his youth, Talion turned more aggressive in his teens as a result of witnessing a drow raid. This turned around later as he accidentily killed an innocent drow, and he returned to his former calm and peaceful demeanor.

After he found peace in goddess Eldath, Talion has abandoned his aggressive behavior and become a lot more friendly with other races, this is also as a result of his friendship with Irwen. He holds his friendship with Irwen, and his animal companion Liarra to be the two most important factors of his life.

Even though he has found peace, he is still working on finding a way to repay his debt to the goddess Eilistraee. This event is something that continues to affect him, as he now can be considered to trusting of other races.

Background:

Talion was born and raised in the High Forest, and spent most of his early childhood exploring as much of the forest as he could. His father was a skilled ranger, and already early on he began teaching his son about tracking and archery. It was during his early childhood he met Irwen, a girl who shared his interest in exploring the forest.

In his early teen he witnessed the devastation caused by a drow raid, which would alter his calm demeanor and turn it more aggressive. He continued to remain friends with Irwen during this time, but their friendship soured some after his behavior turned.

During a trip to the grandfather tree in the High forest, Talion accidentally shot a drow he believed planned to desecrate the tree. The drow turned out to be a worshipper of the goddess Eilistraee, who he believes had just escaped the Underdark, or come back from a mission there.

After the event, Talion exiled himself to the Unicorn run. There he lived in solitude and found peace and forgiveness with the god Eldath. He met his animal companion Liarra (bear) one day while tracking through the forest. His animal companion became a close friend during his time at the unicorn run. Talion spent several years at the unicorn run, working on his tracking and archery skills.

At some point he felt it was time to leave the High forest behind him and head into new territory. He traveled far south, experiencing many dangers on the road, but arrived in Baldur's gate after a few months. After a few weeks spent in Baldur's Gate, Talion ran into his childhood friend Irwen. Their reunion was difficult at first, as they had been very close in the past, but grew more distant. They now travel and protect each other while learning to understand the big city and its surroundings.


Goals:

- Find some way to redeem himself in the eyes of goddess Eilistraee
- Restore his bond with Irwen
- Protect Irwen from herself (As he considers her very susceptible to trouble)

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

- Wants to learn more about Eilistraee (To find a way to redeem himself)

- He has not had contact with anyone from his home since he left for a "visit" to the grandfather tree.

- Talion is heavily worried about who was affected by the death of the drow he killed, he knows nothing of who she was connected to. All he found of her corpse was a symbol of the goddess Eilistraee.
