I like some of the music, but I find it highly annoying when the battle theme comes on. Can we get most of the levels to only have a running theme song, not interrupted by battle music, with a couple of maps with no music until battle occurs?
Also, is there maybe a way to make boss music play?

Re: Have only background music or battle music
I don't mean to be rude but I absolutely hate this idea. I like the music. I dislike that there are certain zones that don't have music setup. The battle cue of the music switching has literally saved me from a few deaths before just because I heard it playing and realized I was being attacked while not at my desk. I definitely don't want it to go away.
If you don't want to listen to the battle music, then may I suggest to turn off your music volume for the game and just play the music you do like in a player while you play? It's a lot easier and considerate than forcing everyone else to listen to silence in a zone when they would prefer there to be music be playing.

Re: Have only background music or battle music
I don't like the music in this game, hence I've turned it off in the Options menu. At a time, I had just turned the sound off for NWN2 entirely for like 1-2 years. And I forgot how my characters sounded.
"I'm gonna put your head on a spike!" was apparently my warriors battlecry, made me laugh a little that I hadn't known that because the sound was off, so I ended up just removing the music.
As Cel'Daren suggests, I got music running in the background, or sometimes if there aren't anyone around, Netflix.

Re: Have only background music or battle music
If I recall correctly, didnt IAmDeath make a soundpack that overwrites the standard NWN2 music in certain areas with that of the original BG games?
Anyways, I never have game music on either, just play my own in the background, works great

He did not ask to remove the music at all, right?
I personally was up to give Neomega's suggestion a +1
It is due to the number of battles quite annoying how the otherwise really nice and moody music is changed ever so often and you never get to hear it to the end. All you hear is that mostly quite noisy battle music which was the reason for me to turn music off.
The only area where it is only one theme is hilltop ruins.. All other areas inform me oocly that
whether I am being attacked or that I should unsummon my undead because there are others around.
No clue what's going on on your computer and it sounds like you are having technical issues otherwise you would be asking for a way to gather information out of character.
