Friendly Arm Inn - Valeron - Paladin Items

[Valeron]

A man clad in full plate, carrying a longsword and shield, walks and leaves a note with Mudd at the Friendly Arm Inn.

The note states: "My name is Valeron. I am in search of artifacts that will enhance the powers of my divine magic. I am also in search of a magical blade with a finer edge. Also, a longbow that enhances my ranged prowess would be important. I have gold in exchange for such things."

OOC - I'm looking for pieces of gear that have 4th level paladin bonus spell slots on them, can be any piece of gear. Also looking for a longsword that has extra damage types on it, doesn't matter if it has any enhancement or not to it. As far as longbow I'm just looking for something that is better than a composite longbow +4. Let me know below if you have anything that I might be interested in. Thanks.

After reading the note, Lielle checks through a list she has stuffed in her belt, then goes to sit down in the inn, penning a reply.

"Valeron, my name is Lielle, a trader, of sorts, well, a traders daughter." She runs a line through the note, then sighs at the obviousness of it. Pulling a fresh piece of parchment.

"Valeron, my name is Lielle, a trader of high esteem across the Sword Coast. I may be able to help you out of your predicament." *she pauses with a frown at the paper, then carries on* "I could offer the following pieces for sale if you find them of worth"

The note continues describing the appearance and properties of the items, and she heads out and hands it back to Mudd.

Valeron walks towards Mudd to check to see if any notes have been left. He sees the note and raises an eyebrow at the mention of a helmet that could enhance his magical capabilities. He quickly scribbles onto the note that he is interested and inquires about the asking price.

OOC - How much for the paladin helmet? I'm still thinking about the bows but not sure if they would really benefit me enough for purchase.

Lielle reads his reply and a second note is handed over to Mudd's, it reads:

"Surprise me"

As Carl is making his way south from Baldur's Gate he stops his wagon at the Friendly Arm for the night and while there notices Valeron's note. Smiling to himself he procures quill and ink to pen a response. As he begins to write he calls out to Bentley.

"Bentley, I believe I'll be staying a bit longer this time... I'll have a flagon of your finest and a meal to go with it."

The note reads:

My dearest Valeron,

It so happens I have a small quantity of items such as you seek. If you are interested in them I am sure we can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. I will stay by Bentley's warm fire for a few extra days, seek me out if you are interested.

Included is the note is a short list of items:

- Boots of Sanctity (Dodge AC +1, Bonus Spell Slot: Paladin lvl 4)

- Tempus' Solid (CLOTHING: Bonus Spell Slot: Paladin lvl 4)

-Greycloak of love (BELT: Bonus Spell Slot: Paladin lvl 1)

Valeron walks up to Mudd and pins a note in reply : "Hello Lielle, I'd like to offer 25 bags for the paladin helmet. Would this be acceptable to you?"

Valeron also spots the other note and replies : "Ah, yes, hello Carl. Would you be willing to part with the boots and clothing for 25 bags each?"

Lielle nods to herself then asks Mudd for a description of Valeron, and sits down watching the entrance way.
