Weight, body : Unknown, but she’s fairly short, her body lithe yet well-shaped with a majestic deliberateness to her step even when she moves more quickly.
Hair : White like the clouds in the sky, often tied up in a high pony tail to keep it out of the way.
Eyes : A sparkling emerald green with citron flecks holding a strong emotion in her.
Skin : Her skin is rather pale but not bloodless or unhealthy at all, and during summer she is even a little tanned.
Occupation, status :
Soraya and her family witnessed the Retreat in 1344 DR, where Semberholme, the place where she grew up was abandoned along with the rest of Cormanthyr. Her parents were forced to emigrate but chose for a life more south in the Dalelands, more specifically at a place in the forest north of Highmoon. She was always the favorite child as she was the only one. However, things changed the moment her parents wished for an arranged marriage with the son of the leaders of a befriended family. Since for a decade Soraya had been in a secret relationship with an elf male who had been given to the family as a servant, a servant she fell in love with. The two ran away and even crossed a part of the Saiyadder and the Great Sand Sea in order to evade her father’s hunters whom lost all tracks. Both Soraya and the one she considered as her mate were excellent survivors and finally ended up far far west. Eventually, they ended up near Baldur’s Gate where they together decided to build up a life and search for cousins.
That story didn't work out so well though. With her mate at some point being banished from Doron, Soraya felt homeless again, and for a while she remained indecisive on what to do. During one of her trips to clear her mind after another fight with him, she found herself captured by slavers who dragged her off to one of the worst places one can imagine. For two years she remained in this hell she would never speak of, until she managed to escape. Once free she reconnected with elves somewhere in the north and tried to live a normal life again. She focused on only one thing and one thing only. Archery. And aside from Hanali she also turned to Shevarash, for obvious reasons.
Over the past few years she has popped back in the region, and she is (still) determined to find the slavers who brought her hell.
Provisional RP hooks :
-> Back at the days in Doron she was married, but she seeks a way to dissolve the bond. After all, her former mate Kalidorian is MIA, and in her eyes he is the one who brought her into trouble.
-> She may visit elven groups in the region, and in time may (re)connect with Doron, or others. Though such event seems reserved for 'after'.
-> Soraya is skilled with the bow, and she appears very focused on that one talent... so much that she almost forgot about her other talent. Music. She plays a bowed stringed instrument called a vielle. This part of her could perhaps help determine which of the two deities she now reveres will outrule the other. (and thus determine her final alignment and future path)
-> Soraya introduces herself as a so called 'Solitaire'. She'll join forces with others when required, but for the rest roams the land on her own and mostly stays away from dense civilization (unless for trade). Perhaps this is also due her blood mission.
