Stormlords and tridents

This is a minor bug I find quite annoying. When casting Shock Weapon on a trident the vfx doesn't appear. Same happens with the "upgrade" Shocking Burst Weapon (no idea when casting the Shocking Burst and Sonic Weapon, I still haven't got this last "upgrade"). The problem is that this makes you have no idea if the spell has faded or not while running around and it's impossible to be counting two minutes with the watch all the time.

does the trident have its own vfx? because i really cant think of any "normal" tridents in game...

or do you mean you changed a normal spear to a trident with the changer and it still doesnt apply a vfx?

No it doesn't. It happens to me with spears (with some minor enchantments on them and no extra elemental damage) changed with the tool and also with the trident called "Umberlee Bliss" (not sure if this is the exact name) that can be bought to the dwarven merchant at Ssamath marketplace.

So, is this issue being revised? Shocking Weapons vfx still doesn't appear on tridents (but yes on spears as it should).

checked my SL, he has 6 spears and the VFX works on 4 of them, one already has a VFX of its own tho so its just not overriding it which is fine

in the app changer there are 17 spear models and they all work when i tested with my silver spear

when i tried to change the look of one of mine that it didnt work with it (the one without its own VFX) still didnt work

so it appears to be a bug with each individual spear and not so much the appearances, but with the one that it doesnt work for i know it use to work before

I think I maybe didn't explain this totally well... This happens to me with the trident look-like models (the ones with three spikes lol). The common spear models (one spike) work perfectly. I have tried with all the spears I had with my Storlord.

If it doesn't happen to you Blacman, this could be a "personal" bug (computer? some file missing?). To put an example someone else can check, the issue happens to me with the Umberlee's Bliss that can be bought from a merchant in Beregost and in Ssamath. Can someone confirm if it happens to him/her with this weapon?

well thats what im saying, its not the model its each spear (as in the weapon as a whole), all the models work with the VFX

i do have a spear with no original VFX that does not get the SL one so i can see exactly what you mean, however if the bliss trident doesnt work with it then chances are it will work for no one

Yup. It was just to clarify, because English is not my mother language and sometimes I'm not completely sure if what I wrote/said has been entirely understood. Thnaks for answering
