Items Dropping and Disappearing in Nexus

In my hurry to write this, I'm unsure if this is the right format for pressing the issue.

I was questing with a few people - I died, and upon being raised, I was told my body was bugged. The NPC that you speak to for raising said something about a mistake being made and that I was still alive (after my party had cast or used a scroll on my corpse), and raised me at no XP cost, but the idea of trekking back so far, and so late in the evening... I opted to just logged out.

My log-in the next day seemed to be after an update, because a new PvP guide was added to my inventory. Whether related or not, I dropped one single item from my inventory - and then several equipped items, just dumping them to the ground in the Nexus, when I haven't even touched my keyboard and mouse, let alone several times in order to drop all my equipment. Upon picking it up and reequipping, one at a time, I noticed I also was lacking my main weapon (A +3 longsword I've renamed to Hexeschwert or Hexeschwart, can't recall if it's 'a' or 'e')

I have no idea why this occurred, if it's related to the update, or if it will happen again. I'd love to have my main weapon returned to me, but I have no screenshot to prove it happened, or that I even owned it. It listed everything else it dropped but not the sword. I know I had it when I logged out.


I apologize if this all sounds a bit terse but it's very nerve-wracking to think you might log in and lose items - effectively losing time spent in game.

I only took these screens after talking to a helpful player - player of Uldreth, I'm very appreciative for your patience, I was definitely freaking out a bit.

The two swords shown in my inventory are a, from left to right, Alchemical Silver Rapier and a Training Sword (that does no damage), the missing sword was a +3 Longsword

Was your inventory almost full? Usually that is why your items drop when you relogin.

A script fires that unequips all items from your character and then re-equips them. This is to prevent a popular exploit of happening. However, if you have less than two open slots in your inventory, the unequiped items will fall to the ground

Oh my inventory was entirely full, for sure. I wasn't aware that was such a costly mistake, this has been most disappointing.

Still, contact the dms about it. Always try to keep at least two slots open.

What is the most efficient way for my to contact the DMs? I was operating under the belief that posting here would eventually reach their attention, though perhaps not as promptly as a private message.

This isn't exactly a dire matter though, just one I find personally disappointing, so I don't don't mind queuing up and waiting my turn, so to speak.

Take screenshots and pm the DMs and ADMs about your issue
