Archmage Qualifiaction
Archamge Qualification feat was granted when I had spell focus and greater spell focus in same school. Class description specifies two different school should be required.

Re: Archmage Qualifiaction
It seems the updates used the initial class designs, missing any updates after this. At its first implementation AM could be qualified by taking spell focus and greater spell focus and it also had an extra level5 spell cost for each SLA. Both happen now.
There are more bugs and exploits because the initial class designs ( of many classes ) were implemented skipping any updates/fixes that happened in the meantime.
A server vault reroll wouldnt be a bad idea, if many exploits are being used.

Just follow the rules, and you should be good.
If a DM is doing a spot check on legal builds.... woe be that offender.

A good percentage of builds are now illegal by your standards. I mean, look at the lore skill changes.Hawke wrote:If a DM is doing a spot check on legal builds.... woe be that offender.

Seriously? Can you be anymore hostile?
Bringing up the Lore changes... Lore normal (as stated somewhere on these forums) is Lore: Arcana be default when you role. The builds that try to take Thaumaturge will find it impossible to do so without Lore : Planes.
So they are not my rules... but if you take Greater Conjuration focus and then archmage without taking a second spell focus.. then you are breaking the rules. Willfully.

Putting your rant about hostility (???) to the side, you make a good point about willingly breaking the rules.Hawke wrote:Uranus wrote:A good percentage of builds are now illegal by your standards. Still though, many builds at the moment are illegal. That is not even the worst thing. There are current bugs and exploits that prevent me from playing this game the way i used to.
