The new normal

Good work!

The big update has succeeded, critical issues have been fixed.

A number of important issues are still pending. There is another bug-fix update in the queue which should tackle a number of those. But at this rate we should have everything stable, normal, and hopefully smooth, by next month.

Our work isn't done. But it deserves to be said that you have all done an excellent job. Coping with change is difficult. Particularly when it comes all at once, and on so many different levels, in so many different different places - its almost overwhelming.

But you were able to cope.
We have reached a new normal on the server.

The fact that this is run by volunteers (voluntolds? ) shows the love folks have for keeping the server up and running. Well done Rasael on squashing those scripting bugs. Well done Duster for compiling and compiling and doing it again. Thank you to the QC team for taking away your fun time to hunt bugs. Thank you also to the other players who have been testing things with their own PCs to keep things balanced, fun, consistent, and stuff.

Thanks for your continued hardwork. The staff here, throughout the years, have continued to provide an outlet for burned-out and bored individuals, and without pay.

It's like... I'm getting free counseling out of the deal, almost.
