Elixir Toxicity?

Since I have no idea what the mechanics are supposed to be I'm not certain if this is a bug or "working as intended".

To try and see what the mechanics of toxicity were I had one of my erm... Merchandise Uplift and Lading Experts drink a series of elixirs I had lying around from my experiments.
  1. Inivisibility
  2. Greater Heroism
  3. Greater Stoneskin
  4. Spell Mantle
  5. Greater Dispelling
For every one of them the message came up:
item toxicity: 0 + intoxication: 0 = total toxicity: 0
I would have thought they would have at least been revisiting their lunch by that point.
So... bug?

Conducted another test with a volunteer downing 4 elixirs of Spell Level 7 and Caster Level 24, still absolutely no toxic effect.
Can't really afford to conduct another... this stuff's expensive.
