My gloves randomly disappeared on me!

I used that ferry that let's you be lazy and travel across the river and my gloves randomly were lost. I have no clue why.

Items sometimes disappear for no discernible reason. As a player, I have lost my share of items during my playing time.

The DMs are willing to reimburse items lost this way, provided they have evidence of the properties of the vanished item. Do you have a screenshot of the item's stats?

Unfortunately no. They were just +2 Strength gloves..

This is horrible. I frequently miss the line of the item missing when it goes by, and only notice when it is far to late.
