Looks like dismiss spell isn't working at the moment.
Edit: Just occurred to me that I was about as unhelpful as possible when I wrote this, sorry wasn't fully awake.
The menu comes up listing the spell effects but none of the buttons appear to do anything.

There's more to it. Right now there's no way to dismiss a spell other than resting.
"Remove effects" button in DFMI tool opens "Dismiss spell" dialog. And "dismiss spell" dialog doesn't work.
