Bad FPS lag
Suddenly I am getting a real bad stuttering type of lag. It looks like my frames per second are low, Giving that stop and go flip book appearance to my toon and all the other toons I see. At first I thought this was something on my end, My graphics card over heating possibly. But it is only happening in NWN while much more demanding games like fallout 4 are working fine. Also it is only effecting my toon when I move, panning the camera around does not cause any lag. This all started happening after the most recent update. Anyone have any idea what's going on or how to fix it? Help is most appreciated as the visual lag is driving me nuts and makes combat all but impossible.

Re: Bad FPS lag
Try resetting your computer. I think I have similar problem sometimes and it's fixed that way.

Are you using the Skywings client?
If you are try typing:

NWN2 is more demanding than fallout 4, because it is not well optimized.Mac wrote:Suddenly I am getting a real bad stuttering type of lag. Disable shadows, and don't tilt camera in dungeons, use top down view.
My machine can run witcher 3. If I go to kraak helzak or baldur's gate severs and tilt camera so I can look along the corridors, then I'll have single digit fps.
I highly recommend to check temperature of your CPU and GPU. Because this game CAN overheat them.
