Yuan Ti Queen

Unread post by finneas »

I just had an odd death from the Yuan Ti queen. I killed her, had about 300 hps left when she died. Then I got sent to the fugue. All it said in my combat log was that I was killed by the yuan ti queen. There was no damage. There was no saving throw. It just said I was killed. I don't care about the death, just really curious as to what this might be.

She has an on hit effect which lowers your stats or applies temp HP loss IIRC, I can't say from your post, and can't quite remember exactly how it works, but perhaps she brought a stat down to 0?

I know I've had situations where I've killed her with death ward up, then I think dispelled by a magus and ended up with something like 2000 permanent HP till I next rested.

It's some sort of on hit effect, or maybe when you hit her effect as shad says, but I can't recall details, sorry
I never make mistakes…I thought I did once; but I was wrong.
