A bald albino-looking figure finds a empty spot in Baldur's Gate's farmland bazaar, and tacks up a sign:

"I am seeking several items of power, and am willing to trade for them. I have listed what I have, and what I seek from you:

- What I Desire -

A helmet, ring, or belt that contains a third tier enchantment, with characteristics of the spell Eagle's Splendor (+3 CHA).

A helmet, ring, or belt that contains a third tier enchantment, with the characteristics of the spell Bull's Strength (+3 STR).

A pair of boots, with a protective enchantment of the fourth tier over them (+4 Dodge AC).

An amulet, or a necklace, with a protective enchantment of the fourth tier over it (+4 Natural AC).

- What I Have -

A hood, with a protective enchantment of the fourth tier over it. It also has an enchantment of a similar power, which will cause the body to react quicker to oncoming attacks (+4 Deflection AC, +4 Reflex Saves).

A pair of boots, with a minor protective enchantment over them. When the heels are clicked, these boots will activate an enchantment which will send the user temporarily into the Ethereal Plane. This will enable them to evade deadly attacks, among other uses. (+1 Dodge AC, 1 Use/Day Ethereal Jaunt).

A heavier shield, which has on it a protective enchantment of the fourth tier (+4 Shield AC).

A staff, which has charged within it the ability to shield one's mind against those will ill intent (3/day Protection from Alignment, +1 Damage vs Good, +1 Vampiric Regeneration)."

The man sits down by the sign patiently, building a firepit from nearby rocks and dry sticks idly, as he waits for potential customers.

Aurali D'Avylon peruses the bazaar's wares and happens upon the bald figure's sign. After reading, she responds, "Hmm.. I have a helmet which infers the strength you are looking for in my possession. I also have a ring which imparts personality that you seek. However, it is meant for the use of sorcerers and I understand its value is quite high. I am interested in the cloak and shield you have, in that order. Do you think we could make a deal?"

[Daamien]

A small, mousey man in grey robes shuffles up to the pale merchant.

After reading the sign, he produces a small golden ring from within the folds of his robes.

"An offer for you, milky one. This ring has what you seek, and more.." he rasps in a thick Calishiite accent.

The man holds out the ring in twisted fingers for the albino to inspect.

"I would trade it for the enchanted hood" he croaks.

He inclines his head and waits quietly.

The man strokes his chin softly, and gives a little nod.

"I believe the shield would be a sufficient trade for such an item. Which cloak do you mean, however? I do not have a cloak up here."

He pauses, and tilts his head to the side lightly.

"I believe that the shield, and any item save for this hood would be a worthy trade. Or perhaps the hood alone for the two of them."

After he speaks to Aurali, he turns to the smaller man. He offers him a kind smile, and inspects the ring, before pursing his lips.

"I only require one of the enchantments this ring beholds, fine as it is. I fear the hood would be too steep a price for 'just' it. Perhaps, if you have the boots or the amulet I seek, it might be a feasible trade for such?"

[Daamien]

The robed fellow hisses and spits at the albino's response.

"A curse upon you, white devil!"

He stalks away, muttering all the while.

As the pale man is dealing with his customers, a man in a purple cloak strides beside him and puts a slip of paper in his pocket. He frowns and looks down, reading the slip of paper, before he freezes up. He frowns deeply, and stiffens, looking to his customers.

"I am deeply sorry, but I must go. It is of the utmost urgency."

He closes up the shop, meeting any protests with sincere apology, before departing quickly. He leaves his sign up on the spot where he was, merely taking the goods.
