Gram Boardman in the inn at Bergost is missing the dialog to progress the quest.

It has worked before, i have sucessfully done that quest month before. (But i could swear that npc had another name back then.)

This may be a case of out-of-sync Quest Journal compared to PCs who you actually need to talk with to progress the quest.

Is that the actual problem? Journal says Gram but should be ...

I have completed this quest just recently without any hiccups. The NPC (Gram) was inside the inn that gave the dues (also did have the dialogue option).

Picked the quest up on Sunday (31 July) I think just to clarify.

Does this quest have different NPCs that give the option depending on the PC? Because I've done that quest several times, and I know that my PC has gotten the results from Samuel Feldpost each and every time. There are two other NPCs listed as giving the same options, but some seem to work for some PCs and not for others. Alignment based, maybe?

Yeah, back then before Beregost was destroyed, there were other inns and one would get tasked randomly? to get the dues from at least 3 different locations.
After the town was rebuild, the quest was altered.

I've done this quest a couple/few times in recent months. It seems to be random - sometimes Sam will pass the League dues, other times it's the farmer in the filed out back of Sam's inn. It always seems to be one of those two - so if it doesn't work with the first you try, then just travel the short distance to the other guy.

This quest seems broken for me. I talked with Elad in the Merchan League, went to Beregost, talked with Sam andquest updates at this point saying to return to Elad. But, when talking back with Elad, no option to complete the quest appears.

EDIT: I have just checked it with another character, but it didn't work either.

This "Merchant League Dues" quest still appears to be broken. Just like freekender's post above, I was able to pick up the quest (only available from Elad on first day of in-game month) and receive the dues from Sam, but when I return to Elad he doesn't recognize I have the dues. It shows up in my quest journal that I successfully have picked up the dues, but Elad just gives his typical dialog options.

I tried this last month and had the same failed experience. To help with troubleshooting, this character has never completed the quest before. Also, I ran the quest without a server reset so that shouldn't be the problem either. Of note, while I did pick up the quest on the 1st of the month, I did not try to turn it until the 2nd day of the month (again per in-game time); however, when I've completed this quest with other characters (like many months ago when it was still working) that was never a problem.

How i wish we have all the tavens and inn in Bereghost is in the lore say and the same in Baldur's gate

I have been able to complete this before but after the storage system was introduced and this quest NPC also got the option, it hasn't allowed (acknowledged) returning the quest even with the dues.

There's possibly 3 different instances of this quest, each collecting dues from different NPC in Beregost. I had 2 merchant league quests in my journal and they did not have the same NPC. Since I've not been able to return the quest, I haven't been able to confirm how many (if it's 3 times) dues you can go collect.

There's some conflict also with the other quest with bandits and goods. I think it was that if you've taken the 'goods are gone' quest or completed it(not yet reset), you won't be offered the dues quest even if it's 1st on the month.

Yeah I believe this is related to the player storage option being added to Elad and the conversation tree just needs a bit of a rework.

It's on my list of things to fix (if a bit low priority), but we're aware of the issue and should get it worked out some time during Q1.
