Re: Epic Mass Heal - broken
Just to point out, Epic Mass Heal is _still_ broken...
although it can still kill undead ... at least in the Nexus...

Re: Epic Mass Heal - broken
I can also confirm that this spell is still broken. Shame really, as it's fantastic RP and utility spell overall.
I understand that this might not be the highest priority case, but are there any estimations if the spell can be fixed any time soon?
Hopefully I won't have to remake my toon for this as Epic feats/spells are rather valuable. Really looking forward in being able to cast the spell though!
Thanks for all your hard work with the custom content.

Re: Epic Mass Heal - broken
It will get fixed for sure. Just a matter of time. I know I am hurting not having it. It is a life saver spell for sure. At least it still does what it is supposed to do for killing undead though! Trust me there are few and far between spells like Epic Mass Heal and Mass heal for killing undead. Only a DC Evoker Cleric could do better at killing undead en-masse. The cool thing is that this has the benefit of not needing to be DC focused to do massive amounts of damage even on a save! 150 per undead on a saved throw! If they fail it is a whopping 300 per undead in range! That is how you raze them critters for good!I can also confirm that this spell is still broken. For DC clerics and such this is definitely an undead killer utility. My character (as I believe all Favored Souls) has rather low DC due to charisma focus so he probably won't do more than 150 damage to any undead besides the BG graveyard zombieCalodan wrote: It will get fixed for sure. Not saying that 150 guaranteed mass damage is bad at all, but I took the spell to compliment mega-healing that my character won't have otherwise. I actually almost killed my character when testing the utility just to notice that nothing happened!
I assume the spell has worked with its healing utility some time in the past, right?
I'm also kinda curious if it heals those status effects as Heal & regular Mass Heal, so I made a new forum topic for it (but understandably it's bad time to ask about it when the spell doesn't work...)

Re: Epic Mass Heal - broken
You would be surprised....Even with a low DC this little spell in combination with mass heal was a undead nuclear bomb even in PvE and PvM. It does great damage to high epic undead all day. Lichs get stiches. Wraiths feel the wrath. Vamps get damp in the eyes when they see you comin' In fact the only time it is not is when DM Bloodlust spawns Drowned that have silence circles around them.......For DC clerics and such this is definitely an undead killer utility. Those spells however saved the day more than once in final battles of events. Think of your FvS or DC Cleric like a pulse bomb of healing death!
Sure has. To great effect. It is in fact a go to spell I use when fighting the balor of Grey peaks. Or just when I get ambushed by 4 or so frost giants 1 of them a mage. So lately dungeons have the benefit of being just a tid bit harder for even my super snowflake op FvS 1 man army toon.I assume the spell has worked with its healing utility some time in the past, right?

Re: Epic Mass Heal - broken
I would like to point out that other mass cure spells are broken too. So far I have noticed that it only heals the caster and summons directly from the user.
As someone playing a support-healer PC, it's very restrictive to not have instant mass heals.

I disagree. A DC wizard does a better job of it, especially with good Evocation and Necromancy DCs. A spell like Undeath to Death, or combos like Grease/Web or Grease/Grease (it stacks) and metamagicked Walls of Fire can destroy legions of Undead with little to no investment. Like Clerics, Wizards also have access to Sunburst, which is another good option, although a bigger investment in terms of power.Calodan wrote: Trust me there are few and far between spells like Epic Mass Heal and Mass heal for killing undead. If, instead, you insist on using an Epic Spell to kill Undead, you should use Vampiric Feast.
I one-shot the Dracolich on respawn with it, for instance.
