Re: WM/FB vs Assn/AA Party Decisions

I'm curious if we can decide what is the better build for a party to have in it.

R/F/WM/FB or F/EA/Assn/AA.

What's your opinion and why? Which would you rather have in your group?

OOBI is terribly broken atm so even if you did go that route you'd see how bad it currently is and play the other one.

I had a nagging thought that wouldn't sit still but couldn't identify. There it is.

Let change this situation then. I'm going to edit my posts. We will just compare it to another similar build. F/EA/Assn/AA

It depends who's in a group with you really. WM/FB are catastrophic for enemies if someone is around to buff them. Archers are also great if they've got tanks in front of them.
However, I'll take option C - the bard!

If you have meleers already i'd pick the archer, otherwise the melee character.

If there are a bard18 in the party, go with the build with the best BAB.

If there are no other persistent ranged attack toon in the group go with the archer.
Keep everything but hordes or bosses far away from the squishies of the group.
If it is a STR based archer it will be a decent secondary tank equiped with a tower shield (and do insane damage with highend mighty bows).
