item Continually reduces AC

Unread post by Malthore1 »

Hey I'm new to the server but I'm trying a ninja out and I have an AC of 13 I guess from my 3+to dex AC. I have a ring that does 1 ac vs bludgeoning which has no effect on my actual AC number but when I put on my,

Boots of Avoidance:
Armour Bonus vs. Piercing + 3 (AC Dodge Modifier)
Improved Saving Throws: Reflex + 2
Skill Bonus Tumble +3

and take them off my AC goes down by -3 repeatedly every time I take them off even into the negatives.
if I leave them on and sign in I start the game with an AC of 7.
Luckily taking them off and reclogging has put me back to 13 AC

The ninja class is not really tested or open and the feats very well may be buggy creating the problems of which you speak. I am not certain that this is related but figured I'd link it as a point of information.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The ninja class is still in testing, and is not complete. Usually, classes that are in testing are not available to the public. Chances are you will run into more unforeseen problems as you level this class. If you ask a DM, maybe you can get a re level token if you are above level 10. Otherwise, you can get a full re level without assistance.

This is not a problem with the Ninja class, per se, but rather bugsidian scripting.

Boots with +Dodge AC vs. Type will deduct the total bonus AC from your overall AC whenever they are removed. A relog (after removing said boots) will restore your AC to its normal value.
