Bestow Curse new school of magic

Recently the school of Bestow Curse was switched to NEcromency, from Transmutation.

While I know the DnD spell is indeed Necromancy, It just removes spells from a school of magic that suffers greatly from lack of spells that are actually usefull.

IT feels the 8th level spell "greater Bestow Curse" will also be turned to NEcromency?

Shapechange, the only Lvl 9 Transmutation spell since Etherealness was removed and turned into "Greater Sanctuary' is Shapechange that is half borken.

The only shape usefull is the Horned devil that makes all blood thirsty goodies all riled up.

The 2 giants forms are useless.

The undead shape is good in rare occasions

The Iron Golem's magic immunity is not working making it utterly useless.


I know there are not a lot of specialist other than Red Wizards that depends 75% of their speciality school to get by, but our spell casting is still broken and has not been fixed yet and it just makes the class even harder to play and enjoy.

thought ras said greater bestow was already necromancy?

and keep in mind spells that might break the character .bic wont be done or will get altered like mass fowl did

Polymorph (4th Circle) - Changed to be targetable on friendlies/party members (not self only)

Baleful Polymorph (5th Circle) - Hostiles can be polymorphed, Fort save vs. Spells to resist.

Polymorph Any Object (8th Circle) - Any creature or object can be transformed into any other creature or object.

Arent the issues with polymorphing others the reason why the Epic Chicken spell was changed? It is my understanding that polymorphing others has a tendency to screw with the bic file.

Of course, our supreme leaders at the keyboards of justice (tm) may have found a way around that, and that would be awesome.

If that's the case, however, I would love to see chickens dotting the countryside once again.

It can be changed to for that. Something like (Autoset all physical stats to 6 [Like Tensers] and induce 100% spell failure unless they have natural spell) and a flavor text that everyone can see saying that the person has been turned into a chicken?
