Death of Barbaccas

Rumours begin to spread, a patrol from the School of Evocation came across the body of Barbaccas in the tunnels near the duergar mines and carried it back through the streets of Sshamath to the school.

Attempts to revive/resurrect him failed as though his soul was resisting the attempts, although during one moment of consciousness a single word is screamed from his lips 'ORC'.

This would confirm what his wounds already suggested, a large fist like impact upon the chest of his armor, bite marks in his flank, and curiously three lines scratched into his cheek as though some kind of savage marking.

During the final attempt of pulling him back an explosion of dark energy from his body flings those attending backwards and a deep growling, almost guttural voice is heard briefly saying 'MINE'.

With that no further attempts are made and final rites are performed.

I lost a PvP the other week (which was all cool) and decided to use it as a reason to perma Barbaccas. He was my first ever drow, I've been playing him for 20 months in the UD been through a few rcr's, but now I think I want to start fresh with what I've learnt about UD/Drow.

I will be RcR'ing him into a new, more diplomatic PC/Wizard to represent the School of Evocation to continue some of the stuff started there. This will happen next week so he is still in the vault should you need him for any 'before death' rp to occur IG. Other that that just PM me should you need anything.

Vithsiris stood in attendance of the final rites with disappointment as the only emotion he felt, either at this loss, or that their quips regarding who won their final death first wasn't himself.

A Female Drow attended the last rights of Barbaccas as well, a familiar gaze beset on the fallen Male as she examined his corpse a small pursing of her lips behind the cloth that hid most of her features. The Female would remain silent and after all was said and done before the Male was laid to rest, the Female would set a simple well made dagger on his form, an etching upon it read. Helvi'viir.

Wirg watches with a large frown on his face. The wounds were consistent with what he's seen elsewhere... And the Drow was very useful to him. Was. His death and failed resurrections sets his plans back, but still not out of the question. At least now he has another topic on mind, vengeance.

High Necromancer L' Beldroin attends upon hearing, bringing with her a small detachment of guards. After the rites are done and everyone says their farewells she has the guards take the body for placement into the city crypts, but otherwise seems rather neutral about the death being a necromancer.

Jys'Ssysynstra is seen at the funeral, in her Dev'lin armor. She says nothing during it, and stands impassive. She keeps her thoughts to herself, though she would finally sigh when it is all said and done. She mutters out loud "I actually liked him." After that she sets out back to Quellar Dev'lin, with plans to find the Orc armed with information about the three scars left as a mark.

The white top hat wearing necromancer Padreil is seen at the funeral with five coven members shaking his head . " not too many disliked this one find out why he was killed I want to know who did this ." The necromancer can be heard telling the others .

The fahliel Uelaereene Sai´zzel attends to the final rites. She talks to the people gathered, in representation of the School of Invocation and Evocation, regreting the loss of its silent member at the Bureacracy. Farewell, abbil. She ends the speech, with an inscrutable expression on her face.

Rites performed, body deposited into the crypts, it seems all that needed to be done has come to pass regarding this Fahliel of the School Of Evocation & Invocation.

A lone figure sits within the room of Barbaccas reading, analysing, assessing. A figure with the cut of a rather well-groomed Mage have given instructions not to be disturbed as he rummages through the private materials of a lifeless owner.

Notes are made for later reference and as he leaves the room some servants overhear Bhin'erin muttering the same word over with a sharp smile upon his face . . "Opportunity, opportunity, opportunity".

Messengers are despatched shortly after, whilst whatever items the Mage left behind in the room of Barbaccas are deposed off, memory now being all that's left of a warrior with gifts.
