Seems like it has no effect on shapechange.

Very unresponsive today.
I noticed a lot more delay today when opening a chest (until the lid starts to open).
When a party transitions all members icons are there, but then there is a large delay until the char. really appears on the same map. (never seen that behaviour before.)

By design, the polymorphed creature has attribute reassignment , among several other faults that we have decided to not run automatic saves for. When out of polymorph/shapechange, normal onacquire/onunacquire auto saves function as expected.

Autosave has no bearing on any of these. It writes a block of object data from memory to disk.
