Background: For many years, Dargrim was a slave to the Red Wizards in Thay... He was as miner, and spent most of his life toiling away beneath the earth. As one of his few liberties, he was allowed to attend a religious festival for Kossuth, and upon hearing of the power of the flame, and that followers that were consumed by flame would be honored guards in the afterlife, he saw his chance to be free of his circumstances, and threw himself into one of the bonfires prepared for the festival.

Dargrim did not realize just what a hardy dwarf he was, however, and he survived his trip through the flames. The clerics of Kossuth immediately seized upon this as an opportunity... They freed him from slavery, and trained him in the priesthood, knowing the power of his story, of the purifying power of flame. Seeing his circumstances so drastically changed, Dargrim became a true, dedicated devotee to his cause, and, though his visage is ghastly, he speaks with a passion that overcomes reactions to his appearance.

Goals: Dargrim wants to spread the doctrine of Kossuth, of the purifying power of the flame, to all who will hear, so that Kossuth's influence will grow.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Dargrim's healing spells work through flame... So, being healed by him feels like the person is being burned, though once the spell is complete, the pain fades and leaves no evidence of actual fire. At some point he may try to organize a flame festival to bring more people to hear of Kossuth.
