I'm Back!

Hey Guys.

Has been 2 years since my last visit to the server. It's good to see the community still alive.

Maybe most of you wont remember or know me. I used to play in Underdark, but I want to start a new player, so, since I never EVER (in 7 years of my account) played in the surface I will try to adapt in sunlight and walk in this green places so-called forests.

Is there any tip the players can give me nowadays?

PS: I don't know where are my drows, maybe they are archieved, but no matter.

In two years, lots has changed. Mechanicly things (spells, abilities, classes, player storage! etc)) have been added, maps have been added/revamped. Initiate roleplay early, and make connections with players around your level.

aaaaaaand the advantage of old players is that they have few toons ready to RCR as they see fit..lucky for you! (can get instant RP toon or decent build toon mechanically)

You can PM Maecius or Endelyon to assist in getting your old characters back if you wish. I recommend you take a look at the custom changes and the wiki, then ask questions about anything you aren't sure about since we are still in the process of making sure everything is up to date and accurate.

Overall the surface is easier in some ways, but more difficult in others than the Underdark. It's easier because you should generally have no trouble finding folks to RP with or form a group. Whereas the Underdark can get a bit lonely at times... It can be more difficult because it is much bigger so you run the risk of going someplace above your CR and getting fugued more often.
