Background: Fenar was born in Settlestone. Although his tome there was short. His father killed during a patrol and soon after his mother became Ill and died. Now in his twenties he found a couple who were traveling merchants. After a brief discussion he joined them and traveled from city to city helping them in any way he could. They became is second family, as he learned a lot from them.

One day however the caravan was attacked by a small group of bandits. Fenar found himself being rushed by one of them and the bandit griped his beard and threw him to the ground. The bandit slashed at him and cut a scar down the left side of his neck and chest. After that he decided that it was better to be alive than have a beard and kept it no longer than a few inches.

He also began learning to fight in defense of himself. As trade caravan traveled from city to city Fenar trained himself diligently. Visiting monasteries learning how to fight with his fists in place of an axe or sword. However he never pledged himself to an order. He never knew quite why. Maybe he never found an order that suited his style of combat or that he didn't want to be tied to one.

Eventually the couple that ran the caravan grew older and passed. Fenar ,in his fifties, Went traveled southward for several years training himself as he went. He eventually found himself in Baldur's Gate. There he found himself learning more about the martial arts and how to fight the different beasts and monsters of Faerun.

Goals: To train himself so that he can protect himself from most dangers and eventualy master the martial arts.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Fenar is the last of his clan after his parents died. This is why he joined the caravan and thought of the couple as his second family. He tends to only fight others in sparring or self defense as his deity and religion is a pacifistic one. This self defense is extended toward those he knows as he feels that his friends are an extension of himself.
