Beregost keeps attacking me!

My character aurora silverstaff gets attacked by the citizen of beregost every time I enter the town. I am not being hostile at all!

mirror image
non detection
improved mages armor
cats grace
bulls strength
blindsight
deez's repulsive shadow barrier
shadow shield

This has happened multiple times now. I am not attacking anyone. I am not using AoE's. I am not pickpocketing, I am not using any ability, skill, feat, item, clickable, or potion or anything! I enter town through a gate and they attack. It is the people on the north side of town only. This includes the priest in the temple, the guards, and the villagers. HELP!

I think Non Detection may have something to do with it.

Well Candlekeep did give Ulgoth's Beard a bad revue on Yelp. The Hag told me and she wouldn't lie.

Candlekeep was also hostile. DM soulcatcher passified the NPC's but I am now thinking that my greater firebursts hitting my stonewall in xvart village might have something to do with it?

Have you cast a Bigby spell and then cast an AoE? That's made NPCs hostile since the big update and not been fixed.

Maybe stone walls work the same way.

nope I have not attacked bigby's only hitting stonewalls with my AOE spells.

Alright so now my invisibility keep dismissing itself, and I cannot open doors that require keys even though I have the key. Something might be wrong with my character I think.

That's been a bug for sometime. You need to select the use option. Funny enough if you have at least 1 rank in open lock you don't need to do that As for invisiblity i have no idea.

I actually tried that. It didn't work. I had to give the key to someone else.

I'm thinking the game hates your character Joking aside, I'm out of my depth here, I'll leave it for the experts and avoid more bad jokes lol

But also, you should not be able to hand over a key, unless it's bugged (which some can get) or it's miss flagged.

If this happens again, an easy fix is for the DM to put the whole area to 'commoner' if anyone has this issue ask a DM to set the area as commoner to stop them from attacking, failing that -- a reset will resolve it.
