Suggested Feat to Improve Summons

Ok, we had a nice discussion about Thaumaturge... I still stand by the 10 min gate spells.. but this is about summons in general.

Post 20s summons become less and less viable.

What I suggest is this based on the discussion in the Thaumaturge thread.

Feat Name - Epic Augment Summon (not married to the name)

Requirements
Feat - Augment Summon (Remember it requires Spell Focus Conjuration)
Feat - Epic Gate

Replaces bonuses from Augment Summon with +6 Str, +6 Dex and +6 Con (same bonus type as Augment Summon so stacks with spells buffs). Adds 1 Damage for each Elemental type (total 6 damage) and adamantine damage type for DR bypass conditions for all summoned beings.

And that is it. What do yall think? Too strong? Too soft? Too heavy on requirements? Too light on requirements? I'm looking for feedback here.

Perhaps wait a bit for everyone to play with he new summons first, it's hard to tell how good they are yet.

I agree, we need to get a feel for the new summons to know which way the feat should go. It could either be an extension on the augment summoning functionality, or it could open for higher HD summons from the planar spells.

With regards to requirements, I would definitely not have epic gate as requirement, otherwise you couldn't even take the feat until the very late epics levels.

I think this feat is the way to go to round out summoning focus for epics.
