As time goes on she remembers places, faces, and often sees images she cannot place frustrating her to no end. After the death of her decades long mentor and adoptee brother, Villa Vileste, at the hands of a horde of orcs in ambush in the cormanthor forests allowing Aava to survive, she wandered aimlessly casting her sword aside wracked with grief and guilt. Two years have passed since and of recent had a vision of herself finding Villa Vileste's sword and honor reclaimed among other visions. She still has many doubts about herself and even the vision itself. Even so, she regained some lost strength of character as she forces herself to be driven in her pursuits to quell her guilt, self-doubt, and feelings of inadequacy.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
Her parents and she herself were part of the remnants of the 'Victorious Blade of the People' in Cormanthor.
Aava's father, Penitate, was killed by a drow in the Coremanthor forest and her still living mother Yasara, emigrated to Evermeet soon after Aava's apprenticeship to Villa.
Yasara sends spies of trusted former friends/associates to check up on Aava from time to time, but has had no direct contact with Aava in over a decade. The mother and daughter became estranged as Aava matured and her perspective slowly diverged from her mothers over time.
Aava vaguely knows whom and the reason behind the why of how she ended up in a coma, but she is loathe to speak about it.
