Background:

The beginning:
Much of Bael's childhood is shrouded in darkness. But she was born under the same red moon as her twin sister Lilith, their mother dead by childbirth. Found by an pilgrimm of the arts that would later be known as "Cain, The Prophet of Maar" in the northern Faerûn.

In his expedition uncovering the hidden secrets lying beneith the desert, Cain found the two newborns beside their dead mother in an abandoned village in the Anauroch desert, following a strange sensation of arcane eminations echoing through the desert.

No other living thing than the two newborns he found. The Village long since abandoned and the mother dead since days. Still however the two infants lived. Exactly how, is still a mystery but as an educated historian into the crafts of magic he could see the patterns of blood scattered around the mother. As it seemed she had infliced injures upon herself in some sort of ritual at their birth. And though the magic had now disipated somehow it must had contributed to the survival of the two infants...

At each infants forehead written in blood by their mother before her death, two names were given. Bael, and Lilith...

The awakening:
Cain would raise both the girls as his own throughout the first years of their life. Teaching them about his work in the desert. Arcane history was a subject both quickly caught interest in, and before long they both inhibited clear signs of talent for the arcane themselves. Not being more than a novice himself Cain sent them both at the age of 6 to an old friend of his... An archmage by the name of "Alast'air Von Az'azel"... An old mage living in the Anauroch desert isolated in his tower deep within the desert.

Highly reluctant to take anyone in at first, he would later realize their potential for the art. The Weave had spun it's net close around the twins, and would easily answer to their will to call forth prowess in the arts beyond normal for their age. 3 other students near equal in age resided within his tower. All showing signs of raw potential for the arcane. After years of study they became adept to weild the magic at will, but an unforceen incident would change their lives radically and shape their path forever into the future.

After reaching the age of 15, one day, the two twins got into a heated argument with one of the older aprentices of Alast'air. The Archmage not being present at the moment to stop the event led to that the older student charged the two sisters. The older aprentice being more experienced, quickly took controll of of the battles outcome managing to conjure and direct a great ball of fire to explode between the sisters. Both crashing into each side of oposite sides of the room's walls critically wounded..

Lying near death, equally wounded both knew death was grasping them both.

(The follwing text in orange(Dialogue) and pink(Emote) is written from the perspective of Bael):
- Death?...

One thought...The realisation life was slipping away...She could feel her sisters life flickering...They rarely needed words to understand eachother...and she knew both were dying...
- So here it al ends...heh... If only we had been quicker...stronger... So much still to do...Perhaps this is a good day to die upon after all...
She could feel her breathing slowing...A..cold...or...empty sensation of nothingness...But she wasn't afraid no..she felt...nothing...

Something suddenly flickered within...Was she dead? No...Not yet...Barely alive..Just on the edge between life and death waiting for its grasp to take her away....In her mind she suddenly stood upon a cliff looking over the edge into abyss...Into the ground of a black pit...Without hesitating she took a step forward leaping into the black nothingness...While falling a figuere materialized just a few centimeters infront of her...It had no solid body...Not of flesh...no...A dark red liquid forming an mirroring image of herself staring back at her..It's black eyes piercing her very being...Bael would try to speak but no words came from her mouth...The shape observed her for a moment before its arms stretched out around her...pushing its liquid body against hers, its fluid like body entering her mouth, nose, ears and eyes...The pain was imense...

But then a familiar feeling came upon her...A invigorating feeling of prowess and energy burned through her veins...Power...And so..Flickering to life once more

The older aprentice smirked... Unimpressed with their ability to call forth the weave. Believing both dead he instructed another of the students to clean up the mess...But as he turned his back towards the two twins something was amiss in his mind... The other student had stopped in his motion to walk past him to collect the bodies...His eyes wide open stopping in his tracks paralysed...

The older aprentice would then saw blood comming out of the other student's nose...A nosebleed? No...The eyes to...The mouth...ears...Blood poured from his terrified face before he fell dead to the ground... A feeling of darkness spread across the room...He could feel it...The intent to kill... Turning around he saw both twins standing once more... Their pupils fallen backwards leaving an unerving sight of milky white globes staring in the direction of The Older Aprentice. Their burnt flesh inmbued in their own blood...But it wasn't dropping to the floor...Instead it hung fast by their skin...and it looked like it was healing them...

(Below follows the dialogue between the three in the event)

The Older Aprentice: - What?!...No...I saw you both die...
*Grits teeth* Demons! *starts conjuring another spell of fire*

Bael:
Bael would turn towards her sister...Again no words were neccecary...They both knew their desire...This one would die...A ferocity had grown out of their newfound spark of life from death...the desire for power...and the death of that which stood in their way...Both raising their hands atonce towards their foe by instinct...His spell was disrupted by the shock of his heart stopping...the crushing sensation of his own blood bursting through his veins...Falling dead to the floor...
-Sister?..

Lilith:
- Yes sister?...
Bael:
- We are alive...
Lilith:
- So we are...
Bael:
*chuckles* - Come then... It is time for us to leave this place...
