Personality Profile: Proud and arrogant, but with a (so he thinks) winning and charming personality. He considers himself, as a Durothil (the most prominent noble Sun Elf family on Evermeet) an "Elf of proper breeding" and even looks down on his fellow kin sometimes who were not raised as he was with all the benefits of high elven civilization on Evermeet.

General Health: In fine health, but has a delicate frame. Cannot carry large burdens nor perform any kind of acrobatics.

Base Class & Proposed Development: Kirion considers himself blessed to be born with the ability for sorcery, rather than having to train as a wizard. However, upon leaving Evermeet and discovering the library of Candlekeep, he was enamoured with these humans' quest to uncover the mysteries of magic. Thus, he has become an arcane scholar, joining their society as an associate.

Habits/Hobbies: Growing up on Evermeet as a promising scion of a powerful noble family, Kirion indulged in wine, wenching and social intrigues as a matter of course. After arriving in the much wilder lands of the Sword Coast, however, he feels very much out of his element and is not quite sure what to do with his free time. He has the habit of putting his most precious possession, a perfumed silk handkerchief, over his nose when entering any area that is either not in a natural setting or a immaculately clean.

Background: Raised on Evermeet to believe that the Sun Elven peoples were the most civilised of all elves, and that elves were the most civilised of all races, he grew up dreaming of ways to return his kin to power in Faerun. Never satisfied with the reasons for the retreat (if Sun Elves are so superior, why do they run?) he took a ship to the Sword Coast shortly after coming of age. Though not a spy, Kirion's return to Faerun was no mere chance decision either. When he can, he sends back detailed reports of developments that might be of interest to Evermeet and the elven people in general to the leader of House Durothil.

Goals: Kirion dreams of a political career back home in Evermeet. However, as a minor scion of his house, his birth rank would likely grant him no more influence than a posting as a Captain of Evermeet's defense or an aide to another Sun Elf noble of higher rank. If he was to return as a hero, however, carrying priceless lost elven artifacts or cultural treasures... he may well have the reputation and power he desires.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Kirion believes that all elven artifacts and treasures belong to the elves. If he sees a non-elf in possession of them, he considers them thieves and will (if he can) demand they be handed over, or else plot to steal them. For this reason, he likes to employ rogues in his party, as he never knows when he might need their skills.
