Vala and Michael begin plans for their special day. The further into the wedding planning they get, the more they begin to think of hiring someone to help with the extraordinary amount of details. They immediately think of Ronja, Head of Festivities for the Darius Company, who has done amazing work with previous events. Vala contacts her and a date and time are set to begin planning.

Ronja is overjoyed to hear of their wedding plans, and congratulates her on the good news! She is ofcourse willing to help, and so they go to the Minstrels Muse, where some brainstorming and some casual drinks ensue. With her trusty pen and notebook, she jots a list down over the things Vala needs done before the big day.
- Shopping for wedding dress and accessories
- Hire music/entertainment
- Order a cake
- Hire guards
- Wedding decorations
- Artist/painter
- Find a priest
"Perhaps a good start would be to order a wedding dress, considering the time frame." She suggests.

A smile spreads across her face spreading from ear to ear. "Dress shopping!" She says excitedly and begins eagerly sharing her thoughts out loud. "I think I know what I would like... at least mostly. I've had this idea for a while now ... " She pulls out a sketchbook and begins to sketch out an outline... her writing tool skipping across the page as she continues to express her thoughts out loud.
"You see.... I have this uncanny tendency to trip on dress hems ... so it is not going to be super tight... maybe even have a super hidden slit somewhere so it is even easier. You know, I do kind of have this thing - I want to be able to fight in my dress if needed... and not just my wedding dress.... all dresses really. Anyway..." She continues to sketch, shading here and there. She eventually hands the sketch to Ronja, feeling pleased with how it turned out.
She rests her arms on the table, looking with interest as she sketches, head tilted to the side to see it properly. As it takes shape a smile form and she nods to Vala approvingly. "I think i can see where you are going with it, i like it! What sort of fabric were you thinking of? And.. " She points to the midriff. "Where you have drawn a line here, will the divide be made by simple stitches or some sort of accessory?"

"Actually, you know what we should do... We should stroll by the Seven Suns Merchantile. They have a nice selection of dresses, and if need be i bet they could easily tailor a dress for you. What do you think of that?" Ronja looks at Vala.
"I'm not sure exactly .. something that flows ... silk-like?.... but not slippery.... I'm really not sure what they have if I'm being honest.... "
At the mention of the middriff her eyes glimt.... "I haven't told you that story yet??"
"Michael didn't like that I was so slow in making a decision.. so at one point we had made a bet... I think it was a card game or dice? ... and of course I lost... he said I had to wear a piece of jewelry for a day.... At the time I thought it might be a ring.. turns out .. it was a special waist chain he had made..." She smirks. "Thing is... it didn't have a clasp. I didn't know it at first... anyway... afterwards he said that I now had to make a choice.... I could either.... choose him and keep it.. or remove it .. and make a choice that way... ... .. Since then I have only ever taken it once" She holds up a single finger" .. and that was when we used chronomancy and traveled back in time since we couldn't take any metal with us...."
"Plan is to surprise him and wear it on the outside of the dress... my way of showing him that I am showing the world that I chose him."
"And now? Do you have time!?"
"No ... wait... we need to get the invitations settled.. before we get to go shopping... or else it might never get done ... and Michael jokes that whether or not people show up or not .. we are getting married... " She chuckles happily. "Of course I want to have my friends and family all there."
*She begins to explain what wants to include on the invitations.... names, the phrase 'you and yours', location and time... "Probably a good idea to include a map.. I don't know if everyone knows the bluffs on Ulgoths Beard.... Do you know someone that can make a good bunch of them?"

A sending reaces Vala some time in the evening. A joyful voice might be head in her mind.
"Everything goes according to wedding-plans. Herran and Freya are in, with two songs, the cake and the picture."
A short letter goes out to Ronja a little while later. It slo includes a little bill.
Hey Ronja,
the world stands still and something came "between" our cake sale. I heard you have joined the wedding planners these days?
If you have the time we can still meet to bake some point in the next tenday. If not, we'll postpone it a bit, but Vala agreed to help hanging out the posters as well.
Herran and me, we have something for you, so you'll have some "worries" less with Vala's wedding. She asked me last morning and we had a little chat.
"That is a perfect gesture! I can only imagine how pleased he will be to see you wearing that on the day." She says with a smile, in response to the midriff explanation.
"Yes, good idea. The sooner these invitations are sent out, the better! There is after all not a lot of time left." Grabbing her pen, she jots Vala's requests down. Names, location, time, ect.. "Shouldn't be hard to find a map and make some copies, i will ask around Ulgoths to see if there isn't someone who would depart with theirs."
Ronja returns for the night to her room in Ulgoths, spending a few moment at the desk before going to sleep. The following morning she tugs everything into her bag, ties the leather straps on it and grabs an apple on her way out, moving in good speed and in a fairly upbeat mood. She steps around the island asking at first the town know it all, who ends up talking about anything but the map. Ronja endures, and finally escapes the gossiper, moving on to ask a couple of the locals wandering about. Having had no luck, she pauses at the pond a moment to sit on a stub and think on it, crunching on her apple.
After a moment she throws the apple core into the pond, dusting her hands off and sets course toward Barnacle Bob. He directs her to a citizen living a couple of houses next to the The Last Anchor. The elderly lady is very helpful, and Ronja offers her 100 coin in exchange of her map, rolling it neatly up. She now steps quickly toward the beach, to catch the next boat going toward Baldurs Gate.
Once in Baldurs Gate she walks past the theatre with a letter for Freya. The letter is handed to Custodian Karl, for him to pass it on to her the next time she comes in.
Yes, things have certaintly become busy as of late! I think it would be good to meet up and talk about both the baking sales, the masked ball and the wedding planning. Neither the baking sales or the masked ball should clash with the day of the wedding, however we could set a date for preperations for each one, and agree on which next steps to take.
Also, i am now intrigued as to what this thing is that will give me less worries!
My lips are sealed about the bill. They will be grateful, i am sure.
With regards to the wedding dance and song, that should be doable. It will all begin with the ceremony itself as it is the main event. Once pronounced husband and wife, everyone follows the newlyweds to the reception area aka. the beach. Once there, the music can begin and the couple dance.

Ronja then seeks Vala up at her parents clinic. At first showing her the map, she explains that a kind elderly lady departed with it for 100 gold. "Now all that needs to be done is to make plenty of copies!" She then unfolds a rough draft of the invitation and shows it to her, not seeming too sure about it, and looking curiously to her for input. "What do you think?"
"Ms. Vala Reyer & and Mr. Michael Dunn invites you to the gathering celebration of their wedding on The 10th of Kythorn, 1353 DR, at the eighteenth candlemark, on the mountain hilltop at the Coast of Ulgoth's Beard. Afterwards there will be a party reception held on the beach.
A note: Include maps in the invitations

Freya reads Ronjas letter and scratches her head, a little confused and in wonder. As fast as she can she writes a message back.
Dear Ronja,
thank you for your quick response. I see we should really meet and coordinate things now. Cake sale, wedding, Adelaides celebration, open stage, masked ball. Godess. We really should get an order when what will take place so nothing will be forgotten.
I will gladly come to the Muse as soon as you have time for me.

As Vala hears the front door 'pling' of another patient entering the clinic, she makes her way toward the front reception hall with a clipboard in hand. Right before entering she tugs on her uniform to straighten it as best she can before moving into the entrance hall. As she sees Ronja her smile, though already bright and welcoming, turns radiant.
"Ronja! Hey!"
She invites her into the back room, leading past the three patients beds and into her mothers office.

She moves the stool over to the desk next to her seat and motions to it for Ronja. She looks over the roughdraft smiling happily and getting more and more excited. "I really like it Ronja. I have this phrase I'd like to use.. what if we did ... this .. here.. and here.. and said this... like that.. keep that of course... " She points over it and they talk back and forth sharing their thoughts and ideas, eventually finalizing it.

Being the first time she has been at the clinic, she curiously looks around as she follows Vala into the back room. "This is neat!" She comments on her way.
Once in the office she offers a thanking nod for the stool, scooting it closer to the table and sitting down so that they can look the invitation over together. Ronja nods to her ideas, listening attentively and finally smiles widely. "Yes, it sounds so much better that way!" She moves her bag to her front, untying the straps and stuffs the map into it." I will go into town to buy some scrolls to make copies on. Do you need me to run any errands for you?"
"Well I already talked to Fenix... he's willing to bartend for the occassion. And then Freya is making the cake. She mentioned having Herran sing a song for the wedding? Let's see.... Michael has possibly found someone to officiate but we are still waiting to hear back... "
"Oh! Ronja! I had an idea.. Instead of having one person capture our wedding in a few portraits... I had the idea to invite all artists to do so.. then I can give .. I don't know ... 20.000 gp? to share between all of them! What do you think? That way we can get all sorts of memories from the wedding!"

"I am going to meet with Freya tomorrow early on. Her and i coul liaise on it then, and i can let you know about what Herran and Freya had in mind? That is unless you meet with either before i do." She smiles, and then crosses her fingers. "Hopefully you will hear back from this officiater soon! Who is it?"

"Brilliant! Will the notice about the artists go out seperate to the invitation or with it? And has flyers been made?"
She tells Ronja who she is and smiles happily. "I am not sure I have met her, but I am really excited." Vala asks Ronja if she has met her before.

"As for the seeking artists... I wrote this up and just sketched a little bit on it. Think it is enough? I could make it bigger? Or make it shorter? Not sure how something like this works?"

*The young teenage woman who has been helping out at the clinic the last couple tenday watches the goings on till she can't take it any more.*
"Vala! Vala!" Tellae practically pounces on the warrior-ess one afternoon, "I was thinking... with all the stuff you're getting ready, what about a bouquet for you to carry? I mean, my brother told me you like irises right? So maybe we get some of those, put together with some white roses and red roses... Ooh! And a crown wreath! Like the one Michael made when you first met him! You could wear another one when you go down the isle and everything! That would be so amazing!"
As per regular Excited Tellae, the young woman rattles off at a speed that would make most Gnomes proud, and in a single breath.
"I know that there were some at the White Mask gardens, but if they're not there any more or you can't pick those, I can go looking for them! I mean, I go wandering about on errands all the time and there's plenty of meadows and glades and stuff around here, right? I'm sure I could find enough of various flowers to make pretty bouquets and a wreath crown for you!" The young woman is literally bouncing in a circle around Vala with excitement at this point, having attempted to grab both of Vala's hands, forcing the other woman to turn with her.

Looking the sketch over, her browse raise and her expression turns to one that is impressed. "No changes needed, if you ask me! The sketch itself looks quite fine, i especially like the touch of leaves there." Said with a point to right side of the sketch. "I could buy some scrolls for that one too, and make an equal amount of copies of that while i am at it."

That night Ronja returns early home with a large amount of paper scrolls and some extra ink. She orders a bottle of juice and some herbed flatbread at the counter, preparing for a long nights typing. Once everything is in its place and ready, she stretches her fingers out and clutches her hands a couple of times readying herself, then reaches for a pen and a paper scroll. “Alright, lets do this!”
Time nears afternoon, and Ronja wakes in a splitsecond.
Having slept so late, she rushes to ready and runs toward the beach to catch the boat. Once in Baldurs Gate, she goes straight to the clinic to present the copies to Vala.
“Will these be enough?” There would be approximately 50 copies of each one.
"So, i just came from a meeting with Freya. I asked her what the flavors the wedding cake would have, as i thought that Nathan Fryer and Rania could be told too. The idea is that they could compliment the things they are making to it. Could send a letter out if you want. What do you think?"
"In which row will the musicians play?" Explaining that Herran and Freya are time pressed, so if possible they wish to play their two songs first when on the beach.
"Freya proposes serving the wedding cake and other goodies while the next artist plays after Herran and her. So that if the couple is ready, the cake would be waiting to be cut by them if you want to. And then Rania and Nathan Fryer can assist her in putting things on the table, those three forming a small "kitchen staff" for the day." Having just unloaded a bunchload of questions on Vala, she sits nicely on the stool to await answer.
