Cavestalker's Gaseous Form duration change

Unread post by Steve »

Currently, the PrC granted Feat Gaseous Form, for the Cavestalker, has the same 1 round/ Caster level, same as the generic spell available to all casters.

But it cannot be Extended, like the generic spell can (if you have the Feat, natch).

I propose that the duration of the PrC granted version of Gaseous Form be tied to the actual Cavestalker level, but possibly, change it to 1 turn / PrC level (thus 6 turns at Lvl 6 when you get the Feat, and max 10 turns (10 minuntes) at Level 10 Cavestalker.

Waddya think?

By turns i assume you mean minutes?

Why not just change it to auto extend and change the description to 1.5 times class level rounds?

Yes, old school D&D had a Turn as 1 minute. This terminology is actually used on BGTSCC for some spells/Feats.

Anyway 10 levels Extended at 1.5 is 30 rounds, or 3 minutes.

My suggestion would give 6–10 minutes, based on PrC level.

My way is better!!! lol. ;)
