hey, im sorry if this is not the rigt place to whrite the post but didnt know where els to post it:)


im levling a arcane techsmidt of gond and has now gon pass the point where i can pick his class, wicth vil be fixed in nekst update

my question is: if i keep levling him up, vil i be abel to get a full rcr to go techsmit of gond or shouldt i play on him until the class is fixed?

"Full RCR" (or 100% xp) only applies if you take 10 levels or less. From level 11 to 20 you get a cumulative -5% xp penalty for using the RCR mechanic, to a maximum penalty of -50% xp at level 20+.

So no, if you exceed level 10 you will not get a full xp refund, but you might as well keep going because even with a 50% penalty at level 20 it will put you back to level 13 or so PLUS you get to keep whatever nice gear you had, making the re-levelling process easier.

A DM might like to chime in here if your particular case (caused by an unintentional bug) would merit a 100% RCR token, meaning you could get a full rebuild regardless of level if approved.

For everyone's awareness, we are planning the introduction of some balance-based changes which have the potential to impact existing character builds.

The short version is that Evasion and Improved Evasion will no longer work while wearing medium armor or heavy armor. It will only work in no armor or light armor.

To compensate, Fighter/Master-at-Arms/Barbarian/Paladin classes will receive a feat at level 8 that grants the following benefits:
- Wearing heavy armor will convey 20% elemental resistance
- Medium armor will grant 15% elemental resistance

If this content is introduced this month or early next month, we are thinking of implementing a one-month 100% RCR period -- likely from August 1st to August 31st.

Right now the details are still being discussed, and there's not yet a hard timetable; but I wanted to make a note of this to make everyone aware of the fact that there could be a 100% RCR period coming up soon.

There is also an upcoming period of 100% RCR (no penalty) but the specific period has yet to be finalized. Could be as early as next month. Just FYI.

There MIGHT be an upcoming 100% RCR period. I'm fairly certain Maecius' wording was intentional to indicate this is very much still in the planning/discussion stages so nothing is promised at this time.
