Background:
Septieme was a lowborn (bastard) from a small community in the Moonshaes. She was acquired in a pirate raid in her early twenties. For the next few decades she was forced to cook, clean and be of service to the ship. Once she grew strong enough to hold a blade, she was trained to help with the raids as well. Losing an eye to a saber, she begun to focus on her aptitude for the arcane. This was cautiously encouraged by the captain and his Wizard.
During this time, her one burning (secret) desire was naturally her freedom. Learning early on that the appearance of loyalty made her life much easier, she did what was required and studied all she could. Praying at night the the Seldarine she could remember, she was eventually guided to master spell to breath water by Deep Sashelas. This enabled her to escape to the mainland near Luskan.
Never having been on her own, it was a crash course in survival. She had learned to fight aboard rocking ship with a crew about her. Fighting alone was difficult and dangerous. She found some companions along the road, but soon learned there was not even false loyalty among thieves. Wandering aimlessly, she found she had little in common with the northern Human tribes. Hearing of Ar-Tel Quessir in the High Forest, she sought out the remnants of Aryvandaar. While a welcome respite, and a boon to her studies, she found she had little in common with the even the Tel-quessir. After a few years, she took to the road again, wandering South.
Currently basing out of Baldur's Gate, she continues to blend her martial and arcane talents into a formidable skill. While she hasn't yet found a home, she has been meeting a wider variety of folk near the Friendly Arm Inn. Some even appear trustworthy.
Goals: Survival - she's come to the Gate to continue to improve herself in order to control her destiny
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:She'd like her eye back
