Background:
Blardam hails from a small gold dwarven clan in the Trielta Hills where he grew up with two younger brothers and two younger sisters. Initially, he was trained as a fighter, but he showed little aptitude for it. Instead, Blardam was more interested in the stories told by the local ollam. Other children found the old man boring, but when Blardam retold the factual stories of the ollam and added some exciting fiction, his friends and siblings hang on his every word. At his fiftieth birthday, Blardam decided he would travel the world and accumulate knowledge, like the ollam had done before him. He intended to return a wise and experienced man.
