Personality Profile: She doesn't speak much. Most of her companions claimed she was mute, but in reality, Ariexe's doesn't find it necessary to talk much. She is the type of person who notices the detail in body language, knowing that when people speak, the rest of their body can tell another story. She believes in being honest and finds by acting instead of talking. Deep inside though, she is boiling with hate, for what happened to family in her younger years, and the hate mostly surfaces as anger, for the longest time she fought to hide it completely, but after a while she learned to control it, only unleashing it when she is killing someone.

Background:
As a young child Ariex born in Gheldaneth of a nobility caste had many experiences with all kinds of strange phenomena. From uncontrollable bursts of magic to strange feelings when near magical relics, such events have ultimately shaped Ariex into the woman she has become. As daughter to a pair of archmages, Aridex's magic is explained as her inheritance from her parents and as a sign that Aridex's path was already set for her and started at a young age to be groomed to be just as skilled at her parents and grow superior with in the wizard college.
Though this fate sounded pleasant at first, talk of Ariedex's developing gifts have spread across Mulhorand and have now taken a turn for the worst. When a rival house though political power and influence attacked her family and guild, one survivor asked and not without grievous wounds. Fleeing and smuggling herself, leaving behind what little remained and keeping her pain of loss and sorrow. She was found in the hold half dead between some crates. Taken into care to be healed and cleaned, before regaining consciousness.
Dulled to the kindness of the people she gave everything left including the clothing off her back to pay them not to throw the women off. Landing near bulders gate with nothing but a name and rags covering her form. She only sank deeper into despair, needing to start over with everything and try and build herself back up. She wouldn't have back what she lost, but a new outlook on life would maybe have pity on her. She set to roaming learning the land and the people very much different than her home lands, but seemly more accepting.
The pain still haunting her when she closes her eyes at night, frequently waking suddenly covered in cold sweat screaming. Slipping more into despair, taking to a new form of magic out of a necessary need for letting it out. A mask she would wear when near others to hide her self from them not to let her pain show through the mask of content.
