it just came to me, but with the changes made to areas, is there still a malar shrine somewhere?

it could be. havent been there in a long time... for some reason i was thinking the malar shrine was in the area that had the chionthar river crossing.

Yes, the shrine is still in gibberling cave, fully interactable by any faith/alignment.
