Dusty Tome - FAI - Karala CLOSED

Karala sets up a sign outside the FAI, on closer inspection it reads:

"I have found some information on a powerful entity that may be useful to an accomplished summoner. Ask for Karala at the inn if you are interested in knowing more."

A Tiefling can be seen observing the post before looking to find this Karala.

Bently points out Karala in the dining room. She is staring into a mug of ale with her brown hood still pulled down to her eyes. She pricks up at the sound of her name, even on the other end of a busy room, and regards the asker with a steady gaze.

The female Tiefling moved to Bentley and slid some coin onto the table, her tail flicked side to side as she picked up the goblet and made her way towards the girl enjoying a sip as she did. She settled down into a seat across from her and and flit her yellowed gaze over her in brief observance.

"I found your posting what information do you have?"

Karala sets up a sign outside the FAI, on closer inspection it reads:

"I have found some information on a powerful entity that may be useful to an accomplished summoner. Ask for Karala at the inn if you are interested in knowing more."

An invisible person stumbles upon a the listing, reads it and runs off in a hurry, trying to find Karala. The character breaks invisibility upon entering the FAI and turns out to be an another Tiefling, who heads inside the inn.

You notice Karala has a large book open on her lap. "Well I was able to translate it on my own as it turns out." She closes the book and places it on the table, picks up her mug and drains it. "Thought for sure I'd found something, the book was at first glance indecipherable...Nothing there I'm afraid." As she gets up the light catches her eyes and they are clearly Tiefling eyes, green with pupil slits. "I'll take down the sign now."

You notice Karala has a large book open on her lap. "Well I was able to translate it on my own as it turns out." She closes the book and places it on the table, picks up her mug and drains it. "Thought for sure I'd found something, the book was at first glance indecipherable...Nothing there I'm afraid." As she gets up the light catches her eyes and they are clearly Tiefling eyes, green with pupil slits. "I'll take down the sign now."

Upon learning that the deal is apparently off, the other tiefling would leave disappointed.

Finding out the same she pressed her lips into a thing line in annoyance.

"Perhaps I can still take a look then?"

"Be my guest" *she indicates the book still sitting on the table and leaves it there to go remove the sign*

On inspection the book seems to be on herbalism lore, but no name is there.

The woman would be looking it over perhaps thoroughly.

"Shall I take it off your hands then?"

[nightingale]

Karala comes back from disposing of the sign to see the woman looking over the book thoroughly.

"Sorry to waste your time miss" *as she sits back down and orders another ale* "But you know, one way to meet extraplanars is to travel to other planes...Have you been to one? I'll be making a trip soon..." *she sips and looks up at the woman inquiringly*

((after I translated it, there was only one sentence to describe the book, its was about plants and definitely no names of anyone... anyway I threw it away))
