Paladin Kit use retain Bonus Feats?

When building a Paladin, but using the Class Kits, ie Cav or Divinate.
Does the character still achieve the Bonus Feats available for the Paladin at levels 23,26, 29 , even if the class kits are intermixed with normal levels, and/or taken at those levels when the Bonus feats are available?
For example: 3 Pal, 19 Divinate, 3 other. Paladin @ lvl 26. Does the character still get a Bonus Feat at that level when technically it's Paladin 4... but in reality (including kits) Paladin 23?

I feel this question also extends to other classes that have class kits with bonus feats for their base class.

I can't test this in JEGS as the class kits are not available.
