inside it reads with a note signed by Jand Auren himself:

"My blue diamond is a prized posession of mine. I will part with it for a king's tear, and one of the following:
1,000,000 gold
5 black sapphires
4 beljuril
10 star sapphires
10 canary diamonds

No negotiations will be considered.

I have heard prices as high as half a million but this is absurd. I'd sooner sell this dusty tome or bind its name to a lesser gem.

I assume you have a canary diamond to sell in its stead?
