Part One

Lost track of time since I've been down in the Underdark, can't see the sun to see what place it is in the sun. By this point, it doesn't matter. I now measure it in how much pain I feel, every spar with my mentor drilling lessons of combat into me. It is how I keep track of time. It's proved painful but effective I think I understand most of what he's been teaching me. I might not have been on some high end fighting school like they have but this is as close as I can get, he will die one way or another no matter how many times I find myself in medical care.

Part Two

Another spar, another day wrapped in bandages bleeding out. My arm feels like it's been crushed. A new lesson of combat was told I need to work on my defense so he threw a tower shield at me. damn thing was heavy and hard to move. Gaurd the hay target while he shot arrows at it and me, to say the least, don't think I fully understood it I can barely move on this damn thing. Wasn't till he came at me with his war mace, that I fought more with the instinct to beat his face into his skull. Still couldn't beat him but I'm getting closer.

Part Three

The house is out in the goblin caves, can't say I know why really don't care. Xyen playing bodyguard for the Ilharess, good for him. A few fights later we came to some sort of alter it really seemed to bother the Drow, they tried to blow the damn thing up with some sort of magical explosion, ended up starting a cave in. Managed to get out with a few others, broken rib, and a dislocated shoulder. Xyen went back to get the Ilharess after she teleported them out, fool got crushed and killed by the rocks. They carried him back to the house for something final rights would be my guess. No reason to Stay I left to continue with my own training. much as I told them only I can kill him and the only reason I was there.

Part Four

Doesn't feel the same, I long for combat with that fool, but he's dead. A lot of the surface prey are frail and weak. Maybe I just learned too much making this more simple. The shield is still heavy but I'm getting used to it. Am sure I would get some smug look on his face if he was alive.

I heard him, they found me. Somehow he was alive. We went back to the house, he wouldn't face me his back turned toward me. That should have been the sign the hint to get out or kill him. I was too prideful or stuborn. I remember going out of the yard to the passaged, he lashed out at me, I held up against the torrent of anger, but I felt numb empty almost calm and controlled. I remember feeling my bones break and facture, the pain. Black sucking at my consiousness, a pain in my stomach, then nothing.

I woke up with Cyrus looking over me, the pain was gone, two shadow demons at his side. He wouldn't tell me what happened, besides... I died. They took everything I had left from me, leaving me with nothing. He will pay, they will pay, every Drow will pay now. They think they can control the dark, I'm done playing by the rules of warrior's combat. He cost me everything, I will take everything from him. Cyrus keeps telling me his offer is still there, something I can't turn back on. There's nothing left to come back to. Now I wait to see what 'she' might have planned for me.
