more gold?

i have noticed recently that much more gold is dropping. is this something new that was added recently, or have i been super lucky the last few weeks and i should prolly play the lotto?

I've noticed it too. Most I ever used to get was 250-300gp. Routinely getting over 500gp and into the thousands now.

I did increase the amount of gold that drops from monsters, but it was like a super long time ago.

think it could be tied into the fix we had a couple months ago that cr was not being correctly calculated to drop?

Well what are you out there killing now? 200-500 gold can be normal for a Epic area spawn to drop and if a BOSS creature spawns then 1k gold is not out of the question as a drop of gold from them.

However I can say that the monsters are more likely to drop a good drop these days than the chests full of stuff....Which is kind of funny if you think about it....they heard you coming and grabbed up their valuables to try and fight out with them but you killed em on the way and took it already....then look in the chest and you find...butterflies and dust.....

More gold overall in mid to high end areas, however I also found 2 empty spirit bottles yesterday.
Ware, them drunk monsters are back!

I find them too. This is not a bad thing...I often find that if I have hit a empty chest then one of my things in my inventory or in the next few chests will be really good. THink of it as the other extreme. If you can hit a low roll like that then you can also hit a high roll that gets some great things.
