Dragon Deciple NA

Unread post by ZestyDragon »

Pretty simple really i am writing up the bio for my dragon disciple now that laziness has subsided. While claws without gloves are easily noticeable my question is simply how noticeable are the scales and fangs. The description in the DMG has the scales starting as nearly invisible but becoming more obvious later on, sadly the pictures are of little help as they show neither scales nor claws.

My character already has wacky green hair and an all to tall frame making him already look a bit wacky, so i am not really concerned about that aspect. Really i am just chasing a better way to describe the physical aspects as well as a spot dc i could add to notice them. There is no make up or disguise in use to hide it.

Thoughout progression of Dragon Disciple PRC, the draconic features of your character become more and more obvious. While at level 1 there's hardly any noticable difference for anyone that's not yourself, a level 5 Dragon Disciple already has distinguishable features in public, and a level 10 Dragon Disciple is very obviously different. Scales gradually become thicker, harder and gain colour hue of your draconic anciestry. Each time you smile, people will see fangs, instead of normal teeth for your race. Eventually you might need special gloves to keep your claws hidden, or you'll have to start clipping them.

For disguising it, standard Disguise vs Spot should follow.
