Did a trip to the sewers with a group and my PC. Turns out, you need to dimension door behind the ward to get in, which is fine but to get out you simply are supposed to touch the ward.
For some reason, it does not simply just teleport you out. I kept receiving a message saying that I'm immune to mind-affecting influences (From Monk) and it wouldn't let me past. Effectively, trapping me there unless I used a dimension door to get out.
