are you supose to lose spell slots when u shape shift? i have 5 level 7 slots and when i shape shift i still have the slot but a spell slot goes blank, i dont know if item's with druid spell slots are effected
is this supose to happen or is there a way around it?

Momentary option is to cast Owl's Insight before you shift, and, always Return to Original Form before you Rest.
